A fine hotel
18 Sept 2026
The Clarion Hotel we had actually booked in the city centre was overbooked so we were moved here. The room was fine, comfortable beds and good working WiFi. Breakfast was lovely, lots of different options. It is quite far from the city centre (hence we first booked the other one), we took a taxi there. But this hotel is right next to a train station which can definitely be handy.Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for business visits or for a stop while passing through. Didn’t stay here, but excellent customer service
10 Jul 2026
I accidentally booked this hotel for the wrong city (my mistake, not theirs) and realized only after booking a nonrefundable rate. I reached out hoping for some flexibility, and the hotel went above and beyond - they canceled the reservation and gave me a full refund, even though they were under no obligation to do so.I never got to experience the property itself, so I can’t speak to the rooms or amenities. But this level of understanding and flexibility says a lot about how they treat guests, and it’s the kind of thing that makes me want to book with them for real next time I’m actually in the area. By far the best hotel in Olomouc.

I had not been in Olomouc for a while and was back a week ago. Everything in the hotel was superb and it is clearly well managed. The rooms are super and the food excellent. I know this sounds like a paid ad but it really is an excellent hotel and one of my favourites. What also attracts me is that it is right opposite the railway station entrance so no waiting for taxis or buses or trams. On cold winter days this is a huge advantage. Ask for a room overlooking the railway station.

Best hotel in Olomouc and best managed!

I have to admit I am biased when it comes to this hotel as it is one of my favorites and I have stayed there every year since it opened almost twenty years ago which is tribute in itself. I visit the best local attraction the steam narrow gauge railway from Tremesna to Osoblaha and this hotels is ideal for getting there for the trip which is outstanding it being the last Czech Railways narrow gauge steam railway and wíth steam at that! The hotel is superbly managed with an extremely friendly staff! the breakfast is superb as is the food. The rooms have everything you could ask for. I highly recommend it.
