      Good apartment but no elevator

      We lived at the top of a penthouse, three long, difficult stairs and no elevator. A remiss of us with bad knees not to check it out. Well-equipped kitchen and friendly and helpful staff. The first night we were freezing to death, the element in one bedroom was freezing cold and the air heating fans only blew cold. After emailing the front desk in the morning, staff came up and managed to solve the problem after a bit of fiddling, so the next night it was super hot instead. The beds were unfortunately rock hard, the difference to lying on the floor was probably marginal. Very close to the square in the old town so the location was very good.       A cold unheated building

      Cold cold cold , no heating in the building Arrived early May when people in the street were still wearing their down jackets and winter coatsAll the heating in the building had been turned off for the summer, but the receptionist had her own plug in heater !We asked for a plug in heater too but was told none was available and the heating wouldn’t be turned onSpoiled our stay as nowhere warm to return to after a day’s sightseeing I note other reviewers have made similar comments Location is good
