This Prague hotel is very well situated, just 300 metres from Andel shopping centre and Andel metro station. Wenceslas Square is just 3 metro stops away. Other places of interest include Kampa Island, an 8-minute walk away, and Charles Bridge, 5 minutes away by tram.

The hotel was built in 1907. The hotel has 22 rooms, including suites and 20 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty, smelly, dated…I could go on. It was how I imagine a prison cell was in the 1960s. We left after 2 minutes and booked somewhere else. Avoid

    The hotel was super. The staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful. The room was large and superbly clean and we slept really well. It was in a peaceful location yet close to the river.and shops.The food was tasty. We could not have had a better experience on our first visit to Prague..     I’m very disappointed with my experience at this hotel.I stayed here from June 2 to June 4 and left a €50 cash deposit, as requested at check-in. Even though I left the room in perfect condition, the deposit was never refunded. I provided my PayPal email as they requested, and followed up several times — but they stopped answering my messages. You can see in the screenshots how they simply ignored my follow-ups.This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a hotel that welcomes international tourists. We trust that our money will be treated honestly. I never had this kind of issue in any other hotel in Europe.Please be very careful with the deposit policy if you decide to stay here — or better, avoid it altogether.🇨🇿 Checo:Jsem velmi zklamaná ze své zkušenosti v tomto hotelu.Bydlela jsem zde od 2. do 4. června a při příjezdu jsem složila hotovostní zálohu 50 eur, jak bylo požadováno. The amount is then blocked but still in your bank account. Then we cancel the preauthorisation and the amount is unblocked. The time you will see the amount in your bank account depends on the customers bank after. If you took something from minibar or was necessary to charge something from the deposit, we give you or we send you then the bill.Please do not write something is not true. Thank you

    I booked a room here over a month in advance. Four days before the check in date the hotel “tried” to charge my credit card. I say “tried” because I did not get any notification from my bank that someone was trying to charge it. I only got the notification from booking that hotel claims that the card was declined. I checked and it couldn’t have been my bank’s fault - the balance was enough, cc data was correct, settings also allowed such payments, in the past there were never any issues with such payments via booking. I updated the cc data to another card, they “tried” charging this one as well, again declined on booking, no notification from my other bank. I tried contacting the hotel to resolve this issue - to pay in some other way if possible, or at least I wanted to find out if they are going to cancel my reservation or not. I messaged them multiple times via booking - they ignored me. I emailed them. No response. Then I tried calling multiple times, 9 to be exact. They did not pick up once. Finally I contacted the booking.com customer service. They tried contacting the hotel as well, again weren’t able to reach them. Finally, after a few hours I got a notification that my reservation was cancelled by the hotel. Less than 48 hours before the supposed checkin I have to find another hotel despite purposefully having planned everything in advance. Honestly, it is completely unthinkable that a hotel (of any standard!) can behave this way. It’s not even about cancellation itself but the complete lack of response. Completely unacceptable.

    This is the worst hotel iv stayed in like a nursing home the doors like been in a prison beds are worse by far the mattress have all springs through ur back didn’t even cover base of bed to single duvets for me and my husband very old fashioned and dated fridge top broken no milk in room also shower didn’t work like somethink from olden days wouldn’t recommend it’s 30 mins fromCentre staff all miserable
