Location

This traditional hotel is centrally located only 300 m away from the centre of Prague close to Karlovo náměstí underground station. Many of the "golden" city's top sights lie within a few minutes walk of the hotel, with for example, famous Charles Bridge just 10 minutes away and the Hradschin, Prague's castle, a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The transfer time to the airport takes around 20 minutes.

Facility

57 single rooms and 57 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry.     Hotel was lovely the room was clean and the bed was comfy.The room had so many plug sockets which is so good as most hotel rooms normally have one plug.Great base to travel around prague so many trams and buses in the area , the metro is also a few minutes walk away.     You cannot go wrong with this hotel which is not just conveniently located, and close to a lot of tram lines and Metro station. It is within walking distance to Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Dancing House. It is clean, comes with comfortable beds and to top things off, a fabulous and tasty breakfast to help you start the day.Front desk staff are friendly and helpful, especially the Front Office Manager, Stepan, who handles my multiple reservations seamlessly. Honestly I have not met a manager as friendly and helpful as him for all my trips. Jorge (George) is a delight to deal with on our check in too.The staff at the breakfast is very friendly and prompt in responding to any requests.We stayed here 7 nights and it went very fast. If we ever return to Prague, this is the only hotel I would choose. This hotel definitely deserves its 4 star rating, compared to the one I stayed with in Vienna.     I had a very pleasant 7 night stay in Hotel Moran. The staff is very courteous, filled my wishes with no problem.The hotel is very clean, safe and withing a walking distance to downtown, to the Castle and to all the historical sites. It is a few steps from subway. My room had a safety box, all the amenities and it was very clean. Rooms are quiet and bed is very comfortable. No odors or smells. Wi-Fi is included and worked flawlessly. The buffet breakfast was excellent, as shown as on the hotel's website, even better. I will return to hotel Moran on my next trip to Prague.     Really lovely hotel, tasty plentiful breakfast with good selection. All the staff were really friendly helpful and efficient. It’s in a good location for all the sights.
