  Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel!

  I usually don’t complain about hotels because I spend most of my time out and only use the room to sleep. However, my experience with this hotel was so terrible that I felt compelled to share it.The room I received was completely different from what I booked. I was assigned a room on the top floor, which clearly wasn’t a standard guest room—more like a converted service room. The worst part? There was no elevator access to this floor. I have a medical condition and was forced to carry my luggage up several flights of stairs.The room itself was a nightmare. It was unbearably hot, and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted because the air conditioning was centrally controlled. To make matters worse, there were no proper windows, only a skylight, and at certain points, the ceiling was just 40–50 cm above my head, making it feel claustrophobic.When I raised these issues with the reception, I was told that this floor was an extension added to the building, which is why it lacks elevator access and proper temperature control. Frankly, that’s no excuse for such poor planning and guest treatment.My advice: stay far away from this hotel. It’s not worth the hassle, discomfort, or disregard for basic guest needs.

  AC didn't work. It was -7C outside and we were freezing. We asked that could they fix it or even give us extra blankets. Ac was not fixed but we got extra pillows after 3 nights. Reception told us that they would fix it but nothing happened. The room was nice and clean but it was very cold. I would give a 4/10.

  The hotel has a great location and very nice and helpful staff. Very close to the center, we did not need to take any public transport everything that we needed was close. We came two times and will definitely come again.

  It was the worst experience I have ever had. The receptionist was so rude and really doesnt hear what he says. The services is the worst ever. They dont keep their words. We went for spa and massage, actually we prepaid. But, they said we cannot provide massage eventhough we got an appointment before 1 week. I havent seen this kind of service and people in any country. Shocked!!! Ladislav J, Generální ředitel at Euroagentur Hotel Downtown, responded to this review After we saw the camera, let me first say that what you did to our employees is unacceptable, you must learn to respect Because all those vulgar words that describe our staff, its show that you are not normal,,,,,,I would like to clarify some points because your feedback does not reflect the level of our service : You get a voucher that does not constitute a direct hotel for massage and wellness and the policy for this voucher you must contact us before via email to confirmyou the date and time that is possible, because it is special offer, and we have a lot of requests, but you did not know our hotel because you only came at the time of celebrating the new year, When it was fully booked up. but even its was your mistak our staff was helping you find some solution. They give you more solutions but you were not polite and you were a threat to our employees , and you made a big bad show at the reception which was unacceptable, we always have great comments about how friendly our staff are. After all these explanations, we see no reason for this negative evaluation.
