EA Hotel Rokoko is in a superb location in Prague.

    rating24 Sept 2025

Great location, amazing staff, and a good breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable. We asked to stay in a quieter area. This hotel attracts a lot of young tourists on weekends who come to party.

    Good stay

Good, clean and very quiet since we had a room in the back. There is no lobby where you can sit, there is just a reception desk. We were able to walk to all of the main attractions (castle, parks, restaurants) from here. Paid 30 euros to check in early, but worth the price.

First time in Prague, 5 star hotel

My first impression of this hotel was good, however after unpacking and settling in within the area we realised that this hotel was a perfect choice. The location was perfect and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel was only a short walk away from a lot of bars, restaurants, beerhalls and other attractions within the area. I stayed here with my wife and our friends who are also a married couple. I would recommend this hotel to anybody!

    A fantastic value

    rating08 Dec 2024

The location and value are exceptional. Particularly convenient if you are traveling by via the central train station. I found the staff friendly, warm and competent. The check in/out process involving a sister hotel was no bother whatsoever, and the room was pleasantly surprising in terms of size, quality, and condition. I recommend!

Not a good choice if you're over 30 years old

I used Booking.com and booked a room with an interior courtyard view. Instead I got a city view, in other words a room overlooking the very busy street. Including ongoing road construction across the street that began before 7am. I sleep with earplugs so the street noise was not a problem, but it might be for other guests. Also the room had a streetlamp was right outside and shone into the room because the curtains are not flat against the window. They're about 4 inches out. This also lets in the flashing lights from the cinema down the street on the other side of the road that has a flashing marquee across the roof. It was very bright, despite my efforts to use chairs to pin the curtains closer against the window. The room itself was fine, very spacious, comfortable bed, enormous pillows, full bathroom with tub, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, sugars, etc. The room was very clean. There is supposed to be 24 hour reception but there was only someone there part of the time - who spoke English so that was great! I believe the hotel clerk does double duty with the sister hotel around the corner and jumps back and forth between the two lobbies. Hire more staff!Good location. About a 10 minute walk to the train station. 10 minute walk to Old Town. I walked over to the palace on the other side of the river, so if you're a mobile person, Prague is a very walkable city. There are tons of restaurants and shops and ice cream places within minutes of walking out the door. The area surrounding the hotel is very lively with a lot of younger people on the sidewalks and in the many nearby cafes. This hotel definitely caters to the under 30 crowd in keeping with the neighbourhood theme, so I was too old! It's not a good place to stay for families or people over age 40, or anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful, restful sleep. This hotel is a party palace for the younger crowd. All night long hollering in the hallways. With my earplugs, not a problem. The problem is it's an old building with older infrastructure, and if walls or floors are put under duress, there is vibration throughout all the hotel rooms, including the bed because it's on the floor against the wall. In addition to hollering, the party goers are running up and down the hallways, slamming doors, and body slamming each other into the walls. All of this causes major vibrations - it's like being in earthquakes. The partiers kept me up well past midnight and woke me up shortly after 5am. I pulled my earplugs out to see if there was an emergency evacuation happening, but it was only a beer emergency. So I didn't get a lot of sleep and was exhausted. I checked out in the morning. Or I would have if there'd been someone covering reception. The hotel keeps their policies on a paper on the table in the room and one of them is quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. And there will be a fine for violating this - I think up to 200 Euros. But like most hotels, this one does not enforce its own policies. This hotel is definitely a party palace. If you're a loud, obnoxious jerk who loves drinking and making a lot of noise without fear of hotel staff intervention - the EA Hotel Rokoko is your dream come true! For everyone else who's looking for a peaceful night's sleep - look at another hotel.
