Location

The hotel is situated beside the Moldau, opposite the National Theatre, one of Prague's most significant heritage sites. It lies right on the border with Prague's medieval old town.     Really nice hotel. Clean, very modern, large, comfortable bed and room. Staff absolutely lovely and location also very central. It’s a great base to explore and would definitely recommend.

    We stayed here from Nov 02-06. Firstly the hotel is in an amazing location. A short walk from Charles Bridge, the old town square and all the shops and restaurants you need. The building itself is old but beautiful with vaulted ceilings. We decided to book just the room without breakfast.The staff were absolutely flawless. A man called Jordi checked us in on Sunday night and we very professional and friendly. We later found all staff to be this way. One day we had run out of shower gel and when we notified reception we had a new bottle within 10 minutes. The cleaning staff were also excellent. Our room was cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels. The room itself was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom came with a bath and shower as well as underfloor heating. Provided by the hotel - we got toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The downsides - outside could be very noisy at night but this is an old building on a very busy street, so that we could understand. After a night or two we hardly noticed the outside sounds anyway. Overall, we both loved this hotel.

    Stayed on a 4 day break to Prague. Location is great for exploring. Reception staff very helpful with advice. Rooms cleaned regularly. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was fine with good choice. As others have said, not a 5 star and more 3 star. Needs money spent on modernisation. However, would recommend.
