  Excellent stay & convenient location

  We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. The room was located on a high floor in the original part of the building and was large and airy and had everything we needed for a short stay. A highlight for us was the daily breakfast on the top floor with nice views of the surrounding area. The selection was plentiful and delicious, especially the pastries. We were lucky to have fantastic weather throughout our stay and the tram stop is only a few minutes walk away, taking you into the centre of town very quickly. All staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. There are plenty of dining options locally so we would definintely choose this hotel if we came back to Prague for a second visit. Highly recommended.

  Lovely hotel far enough away from the hustle, close enough to feel part of the city.

  A well presented hotel, spotlessly clean, good staff, and a lovely breakfast.Its situated a 10 mins away from a metro station and a tram stop opposite Burger king.The hotel appears to be split into 2. 1 is the red/grey façade you see in the picture, the other is a cream colour next door.Breakfast is held in the red/grey part, easily accessible by using the hotel lifts. Breakfast is a mixture of continental and british, ie cold meats and fruits, to some bacon, eggs sausage etc. Cereals are also provided, along with fruit juices and coffee. Cakes and pastries are also on offer to, along with pancakes!We used it as a base to go round the old and new towns. It sits very closely to nearby bars, as its in a student area. However, these bars were not noisy. The only drawback we had was its near a bend in the road for the trams. As they go round the corner, they squeak and rumble, sounds like you hear thunder during the late night, early morning. The beds were not to our comfort level. Always clean and tidy thou. The comfort level is of a personal level.

  Stayed here for 4 nights with friends. The hotel is in an ideal location to walk or for public transport into the town. Rooms are very big and clean, beds are comfortable, tea/coffee facilities available. Rooms are serviced daily. We found breakfast could have had more choice, limited hot food and a selection of cold meats and cheese. There are several pubs/restaurants in the area. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Would definitely return here.   We stayed at the Galileo for 4 nights it's a great location. A brisk 15 minute walk into the city even quicker to some of the attractions. The check-in / out was painless & the reception staff friendly and helpful all of the time we had dealings with them. The room was a large size with a lobby area which made the bedroom very quiet it was secondary glazed with really good air conditioning. The breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice & attentive staff.The area around the hotel was good to eat with no hiked up charges of the old town & some really tasty good quality food around.The WiFi in the hotel was a good speed. We were really pleased with the overall stay at the hotel & if we return to Prague again we would hesitate to stay there again.   Lovely hotel and spotlessly clean.

  Fabulous hotel, real value for money. Spotlessly clean with a lovely large room . Breakfast was fab with a huge choice of fresh products . We really enjoyed our stay here and the gorgeous 25 minute walks into the main city area. It has a luggage room which was really convenient on our last day as our flight was at teatime. Tom on reception was a lovely, kind chap and nothing was too much trouble. The receptionist on arrival ( which was late at night) was lovely too. Great twin room with a good sized fridge , power shower , hair dryer, very comfortable beds, tv, coffee machine , large windows which we opened as very room , safe worked well. Lovely lounge areas to sit and relax . It was a perfect place to chill out in after two extremely action packed days of sightseeing. We loved Prague . Thank you !
