Poor service and hotel standard

The hotel claims to be 4 stars however the first room we were allocated door did not lock unless slammed, the second room we were moved too was better but the shower head looked as if it had never been cleaned, the cleaner never attended (we were assured they would attend).Shower set up bizarre as had to hold the shower head to be able to shower or water would go all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast poor selection with items not replenished once finished in the buffet therefore further limited choice if you weren’t attending when breakfast opened (7am to 10am for breakfast times).Clean breakfast tables limited as staff stood together chatting instead. Staff did not take complaints well and we received a lot of “I don’t know” to questions asked about the standard of hotel. Would not recommend the hotel and it definitely does not deserve its 4 star rating. Location is the only good thing.

Lovely situation right in Prague centre but very old fashioned. Safe spoke excellent English. Restuarant a bit grim. Room had too much furniture and no tea/coffeemaking facilities. Was very clean. Was advertised at being noisy but our room was at the back and it was quiet. Comfortable hotel in the heart of Prague

Clean, comfortable hotel in a central location, perfect to explore Prague on a short city break. Less than 10 minutes walk to the astronomical clock or Charles Bridge, and a huge range of bars and restaurants nearby.Well-equipped room (including air conditioning, bath/shower, mini bar and hair dryer).Tasty buffet style breakfast with a wide selection of food and drink.Easy check in and helpful staff.

Hotel Adria has an excellent location right in the city center, which made exploring Prague very easy. There is also a Rossmann store nearby, which was very convenient for shopping and daily essentials.The hotel breakfast was not large or luxurious, but it was compact, well organized, and the quality was excellent. I especially loved their scrambled eggs. The taste was so good that I ended up eating them every morning during my stay. The coffee was also surprisingly very good.The staff were professional, warm, and always welcoming with a smile. Our room was a little small, but considering the price and facilities, the cleanliness of the room, bed sheets, bathroom, and overall condition of the hotel were excellent.If I want to mention a couple of negatives, there was not a table for luggage in the room, and there was no electric kettle for boiling water. Still, overall I was satisfied with the hotel and would happily stay there again.

Hotel Adria is home from home for me. I stay there sometimes ones a month as my family is in Czech Republic and and fly to Prague and need a quick and comfortable one night stay before i continue. Sometimes i come with whole family for few days and they place our rooms next to each other. It is very special Hotel. It is 4 star but the decoration - like the breakfast room seems not like 4 star but you feel the history. Check it in the hotel website and you will understand better. It is diffent feel but i love it. Recently the breakfast improved a lot. Fresh pancakes, good coffee machine, typical home made Czech cakes and much more. There are young people helping, everyone speaks English and are serviceminded. Viktor-young gentlement boy was asking me if I need anything else, really friendly and service minded young man!If you could not find a room online i recommend to call there and ask for Mr. Sedlacek, the manager. He is amazingly professional and he will make everything he can to meet your requirements with kindness. The rooms are clean, 4 star standard, cleaning ladies lovely, if you need anything just stop them in the corridor and ask. They are very "momma feeling" ladies and help with what you need Location-the best!!! In the middle of the main street, for the price amazing value and the rooms are good size, and no noise!If you like peaceful stay book the one to the garden they have lovely view and no noise which you may get if you have windows to the main street. But if you get the street view, it is special as you can see the hustle and bustle of Prague. I highly recommend to stay at Adria!
