    Ariston is my go-to hotel in Prague

    I've stayed at the Ariston many times before, and it's very much my preferred location for Prague trips -- there is a regular conference held at the university a 5-minute walk away, along the Seifertova, so the location is perfect for me. In recent years they've appeared to renovate and freshen up the hotel. My room this time was one with an AC installed, a welcome addition in for Prague in June. The room was spacious and quiet, and reasonably clean. There is also a minibar, even though they seem to have gotten rid of the snacks they used to have.The breakfast is not really for me to review, as I only ever drink coffee in the morning, but the downstairs location, reminding me of an old cinema auditorium, is spacious and there's always a place to sit. The coffee is perfectly serviceable, but for a nicer coffee experience, I'd recommend a coffee shop right next to the university.The staff is friendly and helpful, and the room service impeccable. They offered to have a taxi pick me up at the airport upon arrival, but for whatever reason that taxi never showed up. They did arrange for a taxi to take me back to the airport when I left Prague, but please note that taxis in Prague will want you to pay in cash, even though they usually accept credit cards. I'll not explain why here, but Google is your friend.All in all, I can highly recommend the Ariston.

    Beautiful hotel and welcoming staff

    An absolutely beautiful hotel and very reasonably priced. The location is a 15 minute walk from the main florenc prague bus station. Our room was very clean, spacious, and quiet, with a very nice bathroom. We were greeted upon arrival by Lukas who spoke perfect English and was very welcoming. He also provided us with recommendations for various activities around the city.

    We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful hospitality, with complimentary water, coffee, and juice available in the lobby for guests. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.Our room was spacious, with high ceilings that added to its charm and comfort. We also appreciated having a fan in the room, which helped keep it comfortable during our stay. Although the hotel is housed in a historic building, it has been exceptionally well maintained and offers a great balance of character and modern comfort.I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 because the breakfast options for vegetarians were somewhat limited. However, this was a minor issue in an otherwise enjoyable stay. If I visit the area again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

    It was clean and nicely decorated. Still, our room was very hot and even though we were at the top floor there were loud noises every night as if someone was rearranging furniture at 2a.m.
