You get what you pay for cheap & cheerful. Approx 30 mins from the town centre on the tram. The Hotel is really dated the curtains were not big enough for the window. The toilet and shower room are tiny but the dhower itself was lovely , very powerful. There is nothing close to the hotel, no bars etc just a little shop next door which you can get everything beer etc.On the plus side it was quiet and I had a good nights sleep.(ask for extra pillows)The TV in the room was tiny no UK channels just 1 music channel which played some English.Breakfast you had the choice of 4 hot items which got changed daily.Day 1 beans, mixed veg, hotdogs sausage and boiled eggDay 2 same as above with no baked beans just rice.There was fruit, cereal ham, cheese & bread/toast. Take your own mini kettle you don't have one in your room. Prague itself was absolutely amazing had a wonderful time.

I must say i spent almost 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel.I cannot describe how brilliant the staff were. They really made me feel at home.There was a ukaraine girl on reception who was absolutely amazing at her job. Special mention to the guys running the coffee shop too.The hotel is a little out of the city which is perfect as you need a quieter area after the being in very busy prague centre.The breakfast was great. I loved my room and regret i didn't stay even longer.Quite simply an amazing hotel. But thats only because of the brilliant professional staff.

Peaceful, clean, basic hotel close to metro.

Located a fair distance from the centre of Prague but less than 10 minutes walk from the metro, and from there about 10-12 minutes into the centre. It's in a quiet residential area with few bars and restaurants although there is a decent pizza/burger bar next to the hotel. Accommodation is fairly basic but rooms and public areas are scrupulously clean, beds are comfortable and it's quiet at night. Breakfast is plentiful although choice is a bit limited. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. On reflection, there are advantages staying a bit away from the centre but close to the metro and I would happily stay there again. Outstanding value for money too.

Very easy to find.Public transport is near by.Hotel is in a quiet areas which is nice.Good breakfast menu, it is buffet style.I decided to book this hotel and it definitely was a good choice.It is good value for money.it is a safe hotel for solo travellers like me.

Hotel Astra is in a residential area with no bars or restaurants nearby. The hotel bar is small and basic but does sell fantastic pizza and burgers. The rooms are basic but clean. The metro train station is only a 10 minute walk with journey time of 10 minutes to the main city square for only 60 koruna. Quite far from the airport but ok for cheap quiet accommodation.
