Manage your expectations and you will be fine

    rating01 Jun 2026

The positives: location! The hotel is located just off the river, easy walking distance from all the must-see locations but still far enough away from the tourist-hell that old town has become. However. The hotel is not a 4-star property, but as long as you manage your expectations, you’ll be fine. The property is old, the rooms are very spartan and dated. The noise levels coming from the neighboring rooms is scary, you almost feel that there are no walls at all. You can hear conversations, all kinds of bodily function sounds imaginable, and sounds of various activities.. so pack your earplugs. The floors in the rooms are tiled and the house keeping ladies start moving furniture at the crack of dawn, so brace yourself for a rude awakening, even with the earplugs. The beds are adequate, not the most comfortable but you’ll manage a few nights ok. The bathroom is large, the water pressure is great. Amenities are awful, and not replenished between guests, so bring your own shampoo, conditioner and shower soap. If you plan on just using the room for sleeping and showering between your sightseeing, the shortfalls of the room can be overlooked. The complementary breakfast is plentiful but a mishmash of dishes. It fulfills its purpose, and you can fill your belly easily. Unfortunately, at peak hours the tables are not cleaned and they run out of plates, cups, cutlery and the most popular dishes all gone all the time. They are completely understaffed. The front desk operates at its own pace and the staff is very uninterested in you after they have checked you in. I would hate to have a problem or a question for them, because I can’t imagine getting any help, a sullen look at the most. Their job is the check you in and then ignore you it seems. So, forget the four star claims, it is barely three, for a myriad of reasons. But it is clean and simple, you get a bed, a good shower, at an optimal location for exploring the city. Regardless, I would stay there again now that my expectations are on the right level.

Try a diff hotel if you want more luxury

    rating04 May 2026

Great location Clean comfy bed Rate it only 3 stars however as interior, despite being rustic as expected, it was even more dated, floors tiled throughout entire hotel including bedroom, just not the cosy/luxurious feel you would expect for 4*. Hotel needs a facelift. I would try a different hotel if I was to return

    3 days in prague

    rating23 Mar 2026

Hotel was incredibly clean. We asked for a double room which we got but on the bed was two single bed blankets which defeated having a double bed. The hotel rooms are quite noisy, this isn't the hotels fault to be honest it's inconsiderate guests slamming doors, making noise when they go in and out. We were on the top floor and had a construction demolition going on outside, this was noisy from half 7, 8am every morning. The breakfast was plentiful always replenished. Breads, meats, pastry, fruit. The hot breakfast is strange so don't expect anything spectacular as one morning was potatoes and vegetables. Very strange for breakfast options. Plenty of juice and hot drinks selections. The hotel is very central. Walking distance to everything. Overall we've had a lovely 3 day visit. The restaurant over the road Myslikova is a must! Absolute delicious local dishes at very reasonable prices.

Comfortable, convenient, and quiet. We loved it!

My husband and I spent nine nights at Hotel Caesar Prague. We loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful--if we needed anything, they took care of it. Our room was simple, but clean and spacious. I loved the bed and the pillows, what a great night's sleep! And our room was sooooo quiet. We were never disturbed by noise from other guests, not once. The hotel's location made it so easy to get around, we were close to everything. I'm very glad we chose Hotel Caesar for our stay in Prague.

A great hotel with lovely staff. Just a pity about all the noise

    rating14 Mar 2026

The hotel is a lovely hotel with clean spacious rooms in a convenient area. The breakfast was also very good. The reception staff were all lovely but Adela was exceptional. She is so proficient and friendly and shows great passion for her work. She was the nicest reception staff I came across out of the 20 hotels I stayed at during my trip throughout the Balkans, the Baltics, the Nordic countries, Hungary and Czech Republic. The only downside and the reason I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, is that I got very little sleep over the 5 days I stayed. The people around my room came home late every night and made a lot of noise until the early hours. One night a woman screamed very loudly and there was a lot of banging going on. For the other nights it was loud talking, and moving furniture around. The housekeepers, although friendly and very competent began talking loudly, very early each morning in the hallways. If you are a heavy sleeper you’ll be fine, bring your earplugs.
