  Good value stay

  We stayed at the hotel during a school trip.Usually we know that hotels organised for school trips are not the best. But: this one surprised as it was a really good.The rooms were spacious enough (the single rooms for the teachers a bit small, especially the bathroom, but still manageable), the location simply awesome (walking distance from Florenc Metro, buses and trams in front of the door, walking distance to Powder Gate/Republic Square, even to Prague's oldtown), and the breakfast yummy and there were heaps of choices.The hotel staff war really friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much. It was simply perfect.

  Lovely and well positioned hotel. Very clean, great facilities, helpful staff. Beds very comfortable and the room was a good size. On a busy corner so don't expect it to be quiet, though it didn't disturb us at all.

  Extremely Disappointing Stay – We Left Early

  Upon check-in, the smoke alarm in our room fell from the ceiling and was never replaced. The room has no air conditioning, and the heat is unbearable. Because of the constant, heavy traffic noise outside, opening the windows for fresh air isn’t an option. The noise is so bad that the hotel actually provides ear defenders.The beds are extremely uncomfortable — I woke up with severe back pain. The TV has about 30 channels, all locked to Czech language, with no option to change it. The room itself was not clean, and since arriving we’ve been itching constantly.We were so disappointed that we checked out early and moved to a hotel down the road. Sadly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, and I would not recommend it. Our hotel does not advertise air conditioning, and as a heritage building in the city center it cannot be installed. We provide fans in every room, and due to the central location, city noise can sometimes be heard — for this reason, earplugs are offered for those who find them useful. Safety equipment such as smoke alarms is regularly checked, and what you describe does not reflect our standards. Likewise, cleanliness is usually rated very highly by guests, and had you raised your concerns during your stay, our team would have been happy to resolve them or move you to a different room.   Good value, good location, very well managed.

  We stayed here 3 nights, and enjoyed our visit. Hotel is well located for visiting the city. Close to tram links. Not far from Metro. There are many decent restaurants close by.   We were really happy with our stay in this hotel. It is not too far from Prague old town -easily within walking distance. The concierges all spoke several languages fluently and were very helpful. The room was comfortable with amazingly big pillows. There are tea and coffee making facilities and our room had a fridge. We bought more teabags and milk from Lidl which is about 2 minutes away.Breakfast had lots of choices from cereal, fruit and yoghurt, through to continental breakfast style meats, cheeses and vegetables. There were also hot options such as fried/scrambled eggs, local sausage and usually a hot vegetable too.
