Very rigid policy, no support at all

I had a reservation at Hotel Pav, but I was unable to reach the destination due to a flight strike. While I am aware of the booking conditions, I was honestly surprised by the complete lack of flexibility and willingness to assist in a situation clearly beyond my control. No alternatives were offered — not even a simple date change — which reflects a very rigid and unhelpful approach to customer service.I cannot comment on the stay itself, but based on this experience, the level of customer care was disappointing.

    Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pav. It's really central and easy to access old and new town. Our room was as expected, clean and serviced every day. The staff were friendly and really helpful. The restaurant they recommended was really good and they booked our airport transport too. The only thing that let them down was the breakfast. It was carnage. They could probably do with staggering the sittings. We ended up eating breakfast elsewhere.

Hotel Pav is a great choice for people who plan to spend most of their time exploring Prague. The location is excellent – very close to the city centre, yet situated in a quiet neighbourhood, which makes it perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are quite small, but after spending the whole day exploring the city, you really don’t need much more. The staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly, always ready to assist. The breakfast was varied and offered a good selection of options.I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.

A friend booked the hotel and told me not to expect much. When I walked into the Hotel I was really impressed. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful with good English. The whole hotel was newly decorated, so very clean and tidy and welcoming. Rooms were clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Large windows that open on higher floors. Clean bathroom, with hot shower. Loved the foam soap! Most importantly we were warm when snowing outside. On leaving we thought there was nothing we could criticise them for. There is no kettle in the room, but I didn't miss that as never use them, as I personally don't like the hygiene risk. The location is excellent as in a quiet back street (so good for sleep) about a 10 min walk to Charles Bridge and other central tourist attractions. There is a Brewery museum restaurant a few doors up which was great fun, as like a Czech traditional tavern. There is also a Tapas restaurant called Lola at the end of the street which is outstanding.
