Location

This hotel in the heart of Prague is located at Charles Square in the historical part of Prague, only a few minutes' walk from the famous Wenceslas Square. Due to its attractive location on the border of the New Town and Old Town, guests here have a unique chance to enjoy a view of Prague's main highlights.

Facility

6 suites and 25 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Individually adjustable heating ensures comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience.     Great Weekend Away

    We had a fabulous visit to Prague and the hotel was ideal for what we needed! Location was perfect and it was cleaned and clean mugs and glasses and fresh towels provided daily. The room was clean and beds comfortable and worked well for us and our teenage children as we had own space but still together. Breakfast was okay, not out of this world but it did the job and there was enough options to keep us all happy. Slight smell in the corridors but it is a very old building and probably has an older sewage system, wasn’t smell in room so could be ignored. The only minor issue was the shower, it is tiny and the temperature is impossible to control it’s either scorching hot or cold lol but it’s one tiny minor problem. There is a safe which is free to use and a bonus of free slippers in wardrobe which was handy for home comforts. The pillows were the best we have had in a hotel, huge squishy pillows which were super comfortable!All in all it was handy and ample for a lovely weekend break where we only really used for quick wash and sleep as we were busy exploring the wonderful city.     Pleasant 3 Night Stay

    We had an enjoyable 3 night stay whilst on holiday in Prague. Hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of the city centre and less than an hour from the airport. Breakfast was enjoyable although a bit more of a selection of hot food would have been nice. The room was a good size with ample storage space. The shower was good however the cubicle was quite small, which meant that it was very easy to knock the temperature dial whilst showering. The room had a tendency to get quite hot, with the aircon taking quite a while to cool it back down.     Bit old school, central location

    The hotel is nice if a bit old school. There's AC and they offered us a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Huge pillows, they took like 1/3 of the bed. Shower is a cramped cabin and water temperature is inconsistent. Wi-Fi a bit slow. Breakfast was OK in a basement whose WCs always smelled a bit foul. Bit inconvenient is that you have to use your key card to enter the hotel even though reception is always staffed. Location is just off the city center but nice.     Good stay for a few days

    The hotel is perfectly adequate for a few days stay. One downside was that the beds were very hard! Pillows were good. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of it. Very little choice for a gluten free diet though. Staff we met were all very pleasant but Igor was exceptional - so friendly and helpful, location of the hotel was good - pretty close to bars and restaurants. We got a ticket at the hotel for the hop on, hop off bus which included a river cruise - great way to see the city.     Great find in Prague

    Hotel Praga 1 is very convenient for seeing the tourist sites of Prague. It is very close to the metro and tram stops. The hotel itself is in a lovely old building and the rooms are large and spacious. The bed in our room was very large and comfortable. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The breakfast choice was very good, including cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, croissants, breads, cakes, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, and sausages. Drink choices were a selection of teas, coffee and 3 fruit juices. Overall, an extremely good value hotel, I thoroughly recommend it.
