    Great for a solo traveler!

    rating15 Mar 2026

I visited Prague as a solo traveler. I am a woman and was traveling alone, arrived around 22.00 and was a little nervous about safety as I'd never been to Czech Republic before. It was incredibly safe, and the hotel was very easy to find, just a 3 min walk from the metro station and the streets were very safe at night. Staff spoke perfect English. Hotel has an elevator in case you have heavy luggage. The room was clean and tidy. Had a small fridge, plenty of outlets, and the bathroom had everything you could need. I went back down to reception after checking in to ask if there was a kettle, and they luckily did have one. The room was uncomfortably warm (about 26) the first night, and while I did attempt to turn on the aircon, it was not great. Not sure how well it might work in the summer. I would have opened the window but it was raining outside. By the next night the temperature was closer to 22 and much more reasonable. The shower had decent water pressure and hot water instantly. It was a very comfortable stay, and the room was nice and quiet. Location was pretty good, it is in Prague 2 and about a 1 mile walk from the centre of the Old Town, but very close to the metro and tram stops--quite convenient overall. I am very happy with my stay and would stay there again the next time I visit Prague.

Lovely Traditional Hotel, Great Base to explore Prague

    rating10 Sept 2025

Nice Hotel on the outskirts of the New Town. New Town shopping area only about 10 minute walk and the Old Town a 10 minute drive. Plenty of food spots around and plenty of shops about to buy supplies. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The area is fairly quiet and feels safe to walk in. The value for money was brilliant, if you're on a budget and don't mind getting the odd Uber/Bolt this is the place to stay. Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Sometimes the connection was strong, other times it was weak. The drain in the shower was also very slow at draining water, we had to turn the shower off mid wash to let the water drain or else it would overflow.

    Lovely hotel

    rating15 Dec 2024

The hotel is lovely. We booked a twin room which had a double bed and a single bed. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was a good size. The only downside is the hotel in general was very very warm. We opened the window in the evening but being on the main road it was too noisy to keep it open at night.
