This congenial, newly redecorated, family-friendly hotel is situated in the centre of Zizkov just 2 tram stops from Wenceslas Square and Prague's other leading tourist attractions. Shops, restaurants, bars, pubs and public transport are all just 100 m from the hotel. It is 20 km to the airport.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1899. 23 rooms, including 5 suites, single rooms and 16 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested.     Receptionist was friendly. However, hotel was dark. Room had no air conditioning so on one of the hottest days it was unbearable to sleep. There was just a fan on a stand that just blew the hot air. Carpets were dirty. Fridge kept nothing cold. Noisy road so could sleep either as had to have window open due to the heat. Breakfast was interesting with roast potatoes and quiche one morning. Hotel quite far from old town.

    The rooms are cozy and clean. The beds are great. The bathroom is clean and with a sufficient number of towels that are changed daily. The breakfast is excellent; diverse and delicious. The only minus is the bad entrance to the parking lot and it says that parking is free, but it is charged.

    Just back from a long weekend at this lovely hotel. The room was a really good size and incredibly clean. There is currently road works outside, but this didn't affect our stay at all.Breakfast was continental buffet, lots of choice.My partners birthday was during our stay. The staff came to our room with balloons and a bottle of prosecco, a really nice touch.The Hotel is in a nice area about a 25 min walk into town, which we enjoyed. We used Bolt taxis on a few occasions, clean cars, always on time and incredibly cheap.All in all we wouldn't hesitate in booking again and encouraging our friends to stay.

    The hotel was excellent and very affordable for the price. It was situated in a very good location with nearby access to metro stations and trams. The breakfast was very nice and always fresh. And most of all the rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Just a brief mention of the very friendly and very helpful staff and receptionists.

    Good & safe location. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good heating system. There is an elevator as well which is helpful. Breakfast is just about ok as there was no signage’s for the food that was placed so did not know what some food where. Choices were limited. Reception is not 24 hours. There is a grocery store almost right next to the hotel which is very handy. Overall it’s a good hotel.
