    Very nice hotel in a historical building with the charm of high ceilings, a wide staircase, and great design.Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is amazing, the location is unbeatable, and most importantly, the staff is great.We were greeted by Marcela. Warm reception, super helpful advice, and second-to-none service.We'll be happy to stay here again.

    This hotel's location is first class - a quiet area, but only 10 - 15 mins from the Charles Bridge, and about 100m from a tram stop. The latter is very useful indeed - Prague's trams are excellent, and free for older users such as myself. The lines from the nearby stop are useful ones, and it is very easy to change for a trickier journey, for example to the Conference Centre.Breakfast is fine - not much choice of fruit, but this is middle Europe, not the Mediterranian. Decent hot stuff and pastries/yoghurt etc. The coffee machine was a bit temperamental though - may need upgrading perhaps...?All the reception staff are well-turned out (no jeans and tee-shirts as seems trendy) and were very helpful indeed. Room was a good size, with a powerful (easy to use) shower, and proper shampoo etc in bottles - a welcome change from the fairy-liquid in a vat attached to the wall, so common nowadays in many mass-market hotels. There was also good regular cleaning - none of the spurious green nonsense so often used by the big chains as an excuse for infrequent and inadequate cleaning. Also a great choice of channels on the TV in many languages, and very nicely-decorated public areas, with a lovely roof-terrace offering a view of the castle.This hotel is a refreshing change from the usual chain-type product, and I will certainly consider staying here again when visiting Prague - high standards and good value.     Excellent hotel for motorcyclists.

    As we were travelling by motorcycle we needed safe and secure parking. I emailed the hotel well in advance and got a prompt reply. We booked six nights. The hotel is in a very good location with trams very close. Room was spotless with plenty of extra pillows. Breakfast very good. Staff very polite and helpful. We would stay here again if we visit Prague again.
