The heating in my room was broken and the manager promised to fix it. When we came back to the room that night, it was not fixed so I went to the night receptionist (Adam) and he just dismissed the whole thing saying that he wasn't told anything and just asked me to apply for compensation and proceeded to put in his airpods. He looked like he did not want to be there and didn't make any attempt to hide it. I mean, no one is forcing him to work so if he hates his job that much, look for another job!I told him that I don't want compensation and asked for another room so that my pregnant wife and I could atleast have one good night's sleep after the long day that we had. In the morning, I went to the manager to complain about Adam and the manager didn't even look at me and said that he has a lot of work to do and he doesn't have time to deal with me because he had to deal with the 'bloody italians'. He said that he and Adam were overworked and asked me to talk to the travel agent about any complaints! I booked directly and there was no travel agent involved! I was sooo put off by his behaviour as he was just looking at his computer screen whilst saying everything. there were 2 other guests behind me as well which was very embarrassing so I just gave up and checked out. Will never be coming here again!!

  Bed clean, bathroom ok but decor and carpet horrible

  Avoid,!! The superior room is nothing like shown in the pictures when you book, the pictures shown are in another place up the road apparently. The staff on reception don't know their left hand from their right, pretty useless. When asking for a manager the reply was come back tomorrow at 1130. Not once were they there. Another member said they were on vacation. The decor was old and shabby, as you will see in the photos. Plenty of shops just up the road, Tesco included. Quite a walk to old and new town. Breakfast was the only good thing about it here. Would not recommend this plac

  Fantastic place to relax and recover

  Wonderful Hotel gentlemen at the desk at the welcome reception was very welcoming and very engaging. Unfortunately the lady who I was working behind there in the evening was not so chatty and even when you said hello there was neither hello back which was slightly disappointing but overall it is what it is.

  We had already booked this hotel when I read the reviews, I emailed them to find out if we was actually staying at the hotel as my husband has poor mobility but they wasn't interested and told us we was staying down the road and around the corner. We arrived and was sent on our way to the apartments. If your tall or a large size you will never get in the shower it so small. The room was very dull and nothing like the photos on line. Thankfully it was just for sleeping in as we couldn't get out of there quick enough, the mini bar (empty fridge) was quite loud too. For breakfast we had to walk all the way back to the hotel and down to a cellar , very basic and partially warm food. WiFi not the best. This is not somewhere I'd go back too and if I'd read the reviews before booking I would not book it!

  Basic Room but good Breakfast

  As mentioned in some other reviews we got the separate apartment room - not too much of a shock as I read it on here. The staff on reception were really helpful in guiding is where to go. It was essentially like any other room at the hotel just separate to the main building. So it was a little annoying having to walk to main building for breakfast but not too bad. Please consider this when booking especially if you have mobility needs. Now the room itself was okay, clean, has all your basics. However the only option for light was super bright white light the entire room or darkness. So what I mean is there was no little lamp for cosy nighttime light. We asked at reception about getting a little lamp but they said there isn't any, and all the rooms have that setup. Although they couldn't help the lady was really kind and understanding about it. So consider getting some little lamps for the rooms, La Boutique :)The breakfast was really good. It was always quiet when we went in. Had your standard continental breakfast. Overall I probably wouldn't stay here again, it's okay for the price if you aren't spending a lot of time in your room. Note: It's in the Andel district of Prague. There's lots of shops and restaurants in this area, but you need to get the tram across river to Old Town for your main attractions in Prague - or about a 30-40 minute walk. Get the Number 5 tram - the 30/90 minute ticket.
