Location

This modern hotel is situated in a peaceful neighbourhood, just on the outskirts of Prague city centre. It offers convenient access to public transport (about 100 metres away) and is 15 minutes from the old town. It takes a mere 30 minutes to get to Ruzyně Airport.

Facility

The hotel has 245 rooms, including 15 junior suites and 178 double rooms, which are located on 12 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday.     We received an upgrade on arrival after turning up an hour before check-in and were served with incredible customer service the entire time. Beautiful suite, fantastic location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Prague but with an incredibly cheap public transport system, a bus stop outside the hotel with only a 20 minute journey to the very centre, it’s absolutely perfect.     We booked a few extra days stay in Prague before our tour started and the hotel did not disappoint. Comfortable, clean, modern rooms with everything we needed. Close to restaurants, shops and metro with a 20 minute trip into Prague centre, yet without the crowds that we would have had if we stayed in the city centre.     I had forgotten my hairbrush so asked for a small comb (not a particularly unusual amenity) and was told they don't have one. The room was cold at night and although an extra blanket was provided for me upon request, they were unable to provide me with any type of portable heater. Also, be aware that there are no USB ports in the room - something to keep in mind when you are travelling if you rely on their availability to charge your devices. Room was quite small. I am not a particularly large person and kept bumping into things so also keep this in mind when booking. A weird smell eminated from the bathroom drain.     This hotel was oddly located in a residential neighborhood of Prague, nowhere near any of the tourist sights - we only stayed here because we attended a conference held at the hotel. It appeared that the hotel was most popular with tour groups - the breakfast room was packed every morning and busses were lined up to whisk people away. Fortunately the Metro was only about 10 minutes away and it was easy to use, so we did not have any issues visiting the major sites a solo travelers. The room was comfortable but basic. Air conditioning did not work the first day but they were able to fix it after that (but then it was a bit chilly!). Breakfast was hearty and the lounge had a decent food menu. Bar service was prompt and attentive. The "gym" needs a serious overhaul and expansion - right now it consists of just one room with a treadmill, an elliptical and two stationary bikes, No weights, no area to stretch, and no sanitizing wipes. I suppose one may not need the gym if doing a lot of sightseeing on foot, but some basic weights would have been appreciated. Overall not a bad experience but there are likely better-located options in Prague.
