    Renamed hotel beware

    rating29 May 2026

The hotel I booked had a different name to this so has obv been taken over and renamed but some online hotel sites still selling it under its original name of Vienna House by WyndhamAndel's PragueWhen I thought something was strange I emailed this hotel to check they had booking and didn’t get a response which isn’t ideal. Went back to online site and really difficult to communicate with them so had to hope the hotel had the booking on arrival which thankfully they did.Small rooms but space well used, bed very good , chargers beside it, fridge and safe were handy, walk in shower was good pressure thought he sink was really low and meant water went everywhereGreat location next to andel’s metro station on the yellow line and multiple trams to all areas 1 minute walk away as well as a big shopping centre into a Tesco and other stores inside. Although on the west side of the river id say the public transport made it a great option as the cost was a lot less than lower rated hotels on the other side of the river. Public transport was £5 ish a day for tram, metro, bus so great valueVery good breakfast included in rate, only thing that annoyed me was staff continually trying to grab plates from under you , once I had food on fork and a staff member like a seagull pounced to grab the plate before I even got the fork in my mouth - message to hotel let people finish before you try and annoy them by swiping things from table Overall hotel very modern and id recommend and return as was great value for what I paid and a great location Katerina Joklova, General Manager at Andel"s Hotel Prague, responded to this review Dear Jay,Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions following your recent stay with us.We appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the transition in the hotel's branding and the associated challenges you experienced with pre-arrival communication. We understand how encountering a different name and the difficulty in obtaining a timely response could create uncertainty ahead of your trip, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused during the booking process. It is great to know that, despite these initial concerns, your arrival was smooth and that your booking was in order. We are pleased to learn you found the room layout efficient, with thoughtful amenities such as bedside chargers, a fridge, and a safe enhancing your comfort. Your observations about the bathroom sink are valuable, and we appreciate your perspective as it helps us consider adjustments that may improve our guests’ experience. We are delighted that our central location and proximity to public transport contributed positively to your stay and offered such convenience and value throughout your visit. Your praise for the included breakfast is much appreciated as well. At the same time, we recognize your comments regarding the attentiveness of the breakfast staff and regret that this aspect detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Your feedback will be shared internally, as it is important for us to maintain a comfortable atmosphere throughout every part of your visit.Thank you once again for your thoughtful review and your willingness to recommend us. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future.Sincerely,

Excellent hotel, comfy bed, clean and modern bathroom, very spacious, breakfast was plentiful and tasty, didn’t want to leave the only minor thing was the heat in the room, we couldn’t turn the thermostat down, so had to open the window which was quite noisy with traffic outside but overall we enjoyed our stay Katerina Joklova, General Manager at Andel"s Hotel Prague, responded to this review Dear Deb,Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions following your recent stay with us.We are delighted to know that you found our hotel to be an ideal retreat, with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and a spacious environment contributing to your positive experience. Great hotel, personnell and location

    rating22 Sept 2025

Amazing week spent at Vienna House with our group. The rooms are modern and cozy, the breakfast buffet large and full of creative elemts (Czech foods, probiotics, smoothie shots etc.) besides the regular spread. Most importantly however all employees were super friendly, especially the front office. Linda the FOM was amazing ahead of the event and during our stay helping with all our groups small organizational requests, being super responsive and flexble. I wholeheartadly recommed this hotel and its largest assets-its personnell. Overall a good stay, Good value

    rating13 Sept 2025

The rooms are a reasonable size as is the bathroom. All very modern with good sleep comfort. The service is efficient and friendly. I also have praise for their eco-friendly attitude, with fresh water to refill you bottle on every floor, composting their coffee grounds, and the option to decline room cleaning and towel swaps if not needed. Three speedy elevators, tea kettle and minibar in the room. Limited English language changes on the telly. The breakfast really was great with a large buffet of bread, meats, cheeses, Czech specialties, salads, beans, hot sausages, scrambled and poached eggs. Some fresh fruit available. The only downside is the distance from the center of town and the castle, though tram stops are nearby. Would recommend and would stay here again.
