    Amazing location

    rating28 Feb 2026

Amazing location, couldn’t have asked for a better location for a city break. The room was very spacious and clean. Only downside to our room was sky lights didn’t have covers that worked which meant that the light in the morning came in, we liked that as we wanted to be up early anyway and was a nice way to wake up but can imagine that wouldn’t be ideal for everyone. Definitely recommend ☺️

Great location, shame about the smell issue.

    rating03 Jan 2026

The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square and close to Charles Bridge. The room was spacious with modern decor. Unfortunately, the room had a smell of sewage coming from the drains in the bathroom. Our toilet flush switch was also broken on arrival. When we raised the issue of the smell with staff we were handed a bottle of disinfectant spray. After discussion they agreed to check our room and fix the flush. When we returned the flush was fixed but the smell was still there. On our second night we asked to be moved rooms but unfortunately the hotel was full (New Year’s Eve) but we were told to try again the next day. We didn’t want the hassle of changing rooms and then taking the chance that the smell would be the same so didn’t bother (other reviews point this as a common issue). The beds weren’t particularly comfortable.

    Great location was the good

    rating12 Nov 2025

The good was the location. It was amazing for reaching all the sites. The building was very historic. Train stop outside the front door. Everything walking distance. You walk in this hotel and there are steps up to the first level. There maybe a handicap entrance in the back but, I did not see anything so, make sure you ask if needed. There is no lobby. The reception was in a room off the first floor. The reception staff was not very helpful. The breakfast had a great variety but, it was in the basement of the building. That felt very dark. The rooms were clean except for some mold in the shower (again it’s hard to keep a old building like that 100%)

Smelled worse that a porta potty

    rating21 Oct 2025

Overwhelming sewage smell originating from the drains (sink and shower) took over the whole bedroom. The smell is SO bad, it triggered a migraine. The window in the bathroom cannot open and closing the bathroom door doesn't help bc it is made from glass and there is a gap all around the door while it is closed. We stayed in room 307. We put wet towels over the drains to help minimize the smell. It helped a tiny bit. Positive- good location.

Mixed experience – friendly staff, but avoid the basement rooms

    rating16 Jul 2025

want to start with the positives: the reception staff were genuinely friendly and very responsive to any questions or small requests, which I really appreciated. The hotel is also in a central location, which makes it convenient for getting around. However, this also means it sits directly on a busy main road with a tram line – and unfortunately, the windows are not sufficiently soundproofed, so street noise is very noticeable, especially at night. The real dealbreaker for me, though, was the basement (souterrain) room I stayed in. It felt more like a potato cellar than a proper hotel room – no natural light, constant noise from the street above, and you literally see people’s feet passing by right outside the window. It was extremely uncomfortable and far from relaxing. On top of that, the mattress was far too soft, almost collapsing under weight, which caused back pain after just one night. To be fair, I don’t know what the other rooms are like – they may be much better – but I can strongly recommend avoiding the basement rooms entirely. Sadly, in their current state, they are not suitable for a good night’s rest.
