  My favourite hotel in Prague. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and am never disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet style breakfast offers different variations every day, and gives you a full stomach to start off your day. The rooms are basic 3*, but clean and spacious.Also, you get a free “Welcone Drink” of their Old Gott beer on arrival - once named in a Beers of The World book as one of the best (and it is>)

  Stayed in u medviduku for 2 nights at the end of April.We stayed on the 3rd floor and the room was modern and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful and even volunteered to exchange old Czech notes we had as I mentioned I had to go to the bank the following day which saved me a journey which I thought was an above and beyond gesture.My only gripe was the wi-fi is very unpredictable which was really frustrating. Otherwise I’d give the hotel 5 stars and if I’m in Prague again this is where I would stay Beer in the restaurant is really good as well

  There are 100s of places to stay in Prague, but, this place is fabulous. It is an old Brewery dating back to 1466. The rooms are lovely, the staff are amazing and the food is good. If you decide to stay here, which I highly recommend, do the ‘Beer Spa’ what an experience.

  I brought my husband on a surprise trip to Prague for his 40th birthday, and contacted the hotel in advance before booking. The communication to start with could not have been better and I went ahead and booked. When we arrived, after doing the online check-in, we got our free beer and when we arrived to our room they had decorated it for his birthday! This was so appreciated! The room was spacious, amenities fantastic and was cosy and comfortable on a night. The staff were so attentive, really friendly and available 24/7 on the front desk. In advance one of my questions had been about the breakfast availablity as we're vegetarian and I knew Czech specialities were mainly meat - but the breakfast options completely surpassed expectations! As well as hot meat options, there were pastries, fruit, veg, cakes and freshly made pancakes. On a night the bar was busy and bustling with visitors from the hotel and from elsewhere. Staff were again really attentive and I couldn't have wished for more. If we return to Prague, we will come back here in a heartbeat - as well as the hotel been great itself, it's perfectly located for tourist attractions- the Charles Bridge, and the Astronomical Clock in particular.

  Perfect Hotel for City Break

  We have just returned from a city break and stayed at this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were offered a welcome beer on arrival. Our room on the second floor was huge and overlooked the street but was very quiet. Room very clean, coffee machine in room and modern bathroom with powerful shower. Breakfast was very good everything you could want and with a lady making fresh pancakes. The reception booked us a taxi to leave and ordered us a breakfast pack as we left before breakfast was open, she even made us a coffee. The hotel has a brewery with tours (we did not have time to visit with a beer spa) We ate in the restaurant both nights as the food and drinks were very good, although very busy the service and quality was excellent. We would definitely go back if we go back to Prague as all the sights were within easy walking distance with the Metro around the corner as well.
