  Overnight at Aalborg

  Stayed overnight at this Hotel before heading off to Skagen. Super clean and cozy rooms with a comfortable temperature setting (outside was minus 4 deg C).Staff was super welcoming and courteous (Special Shout out to Ms Maria).The Hotel is right opposite the Airport terminal and barely had to walk 200 meters to its entrance. It has a Small restaurant on the Ground Floor serving Breakfast and Dinner. Breakfast was Buffet style with a decent spread; reservation is required for Dinner and the A La Carte menu was diverse and the quantity was enough for Two people.Overall loved the experience ??   fine for one night

  The hotel is immediately opposite the terminal, so impossible to miss, though I arrived on a foggy night and actually didn’t see the hotel sign until a local pointed it out to me in what seemed to be ‘the distance’ (only 200 m)! The rooms and furnishings were quite comfortable, though some carpets were a bit stained and one of the reading lights over the bed in my room was ‘dangling’ a little dangerously; so I slept on the other side. Breakfast was rather standard and basic for Scandinavia, but wasn’t included in my booking.com room rate. This may make sense for some travellers with a very early departure. There was a checkin agent to go through the electronic formalities with me, but I fear the day when hotels like this are fully automated and traveling is no longer a human experience at all. One nice touch was that the hotel has a borrow or replace library for guests. For late arrivals your dining options seem to be a blank. Good bus and train connections to other places in Denmark, so a good place for a stopover if travelling at odd hours.   The Burger - what is happening??

  The burger in this hotel restaurant - what is happening? I have had my share of burgers - and this was amazing! Crispy bacon, chili mayo that taste spicy and homemade. I did not see this coming - I was convinced to get an average burger - but this crispy chicken and bacon burger I will come back for. Don’t know which chef was working here in sep 30 2025 but what a nice surprise. Fries warm and nicely seasoned, seems homemade- just the the mayo and cucumbers in the burger. A big thanks and sorry no pictures - the burger disappeared too quickly

  Brilliant Hotel

  Stayed here on business, it is 2 mins walk from the airport, has a train stop to Aalborg that is just as close.Staff are very helpful and friendly, food was excellent and enjoyed my stay. I had an evening meal and breakfast here.Parking at the hotel is available, just tell reception your registration number.Only real downside is the TV had little in the way of TV channels.

  Hotelroom ok. think standard classic “Scandic” type - small, but functional. Pricey compared to quality, but convenient when travelling to/from AAL.
