    Not that bad as expected

    Been to this place 10 years ago, in 2016. I left early, after just one night. The quality was terrible. Now I came back, after 10 years.... and it has improved. It's basic, but cozy and clean. I had good sleep. For sure, it could be improved. The ventilation in rooms is poor. Windows in a size of a door, so you cannot really leave it open for the night. Limited space for your belongings. In the middle of nowhere. If you go there, do not take economy rooms. Breakfast are simple but fresh.

    We stayed two nights at Årslev while visiting Århus. Nice room but a bit dated bathroom. Good breakfast and the burger we had our first evening was excellent A bit warm in the room but that isn’t always a problem in Denmark I think. Comfy bed and free parking.

    The room smells of damp and urine. The bathroom has been recently renovated but more work needs to be done! It’s just about ok for one night. But not at all nice- or acceptable. Don’t come here. I hate writing poor reviews but this is the time to do one.

    Adequate roadside ‘motel’.

    I chose this hotel as it was convenient for stop off en route to Esbjerg. The location is ideal, right next to the main highway. Check in wasn’t particularly quick as the receptionist was busy doing other things. The room was fairly basic and in a block away from the main building. I still managed to get an OK nights sleep though. The hotel is nothing special but clean and tidy and suitable for what it was needed for. Not somewhere I’d rush back to unless necessary.

    Good sized room, bathroom had underfloor heating, which was lovely. Good breakfast. Hotel is on the edge of Aarhus but quite isolated, although the restaurant was very busy in the evening.
