    Pre Cruise Stay

    rating08 Jun 2026

We stayed here for 3 nights before a Baltic Cruise. The hotel room was lovely and all the reception staff went out of their way to help and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast choice was excellent and they offered free tea and coffee all day. There was also a wine hour between 5 and 6 with a free glass of wine. The hotel organised our transfer to the cruise port and even stored our luggage for free when we disembarked from our ship as we had a late flight. The hotel is well located near the train station so we took the opportunity to take the train to Malmo for the day after our cruise. On the return to collect our luggage we asked if we could pay for a cup of tea and they gave it to us for free.I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Copenhagen. There were also little tubs of free sweets on the staircase on the way down to breakfast which was a nice touch. We took a few each day to help us through our busy sightseeing days.

    Loved this hotel

    rating02 Jun 2026

We loved our stay here! Very walkable from main train station with suitcases. One street away from metro, bus stop and hop on/ hop off. Walkable to centre too if happy to walk :)We loved the cold filtered tap water/ soda water available all the time in the Lounge. Free Nespresso pod coffee/ tea in lounge and rooms. Free drink including alcohol (one per guest) between 5-6pm was lovely and social too!We opted for a concept Green as only there for 3 nights so no cleaners and given 100kr voucher to use in the sister hotel opposite for another free glass of wine. Reception team lovely and helpful.Breakfast perfect 🤩 Andersen Boutique Hotel Guest Relations, Gæsteservice/reception at Andersen Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your wonderful review of your recent stay with us. Nice, silent hotel near the main station

    rating22 May 2026

Easy checkin and checkout. Room for improvement, asking whether the creditcard of the booking process should be charged or another one.Location is not far to subway station as well as the main train station. Sometimes street clean machines make some noise, but very seldom and by our experience not in the nite. Traffic was limited as our room was towards a small street with mostly no car traffic. Room was spacy enough for two, the wardrobe, equipped with a deposit box, was a bit small. We dont need any formal clothing, so we were fine at the end.The bed is huge and comfortable, for my personal preference the matrasse was a bit soft.Bathroom was huge enough, a safety handle at the bath tub would give more feeling of safe stepping in and out.Bar lounge was nice and cozy, accomodates in the morning the breaky area. Breaky was well sorted, alone the pancakes taste a bit strange and the scrambled eggs unusual consitsency – maybe a thing of personal preference.Everything was of good quality, juices, very good coffe machine, milk, marmelade, a huge variety of bread and toast, pastry, boiled eggs. Cheese, sasuages. Fresh fruit also.In the afternoon, a wine hour is celebrated what is a big point for Hotel Andersen.Wifi was satisfying for us. Next time again... Exceptional hospitality in a perfect Copenhagen location

    rating08 May 2026

Anderson is ideally located just steps from the central train station and Tivoli Gardens. Staff are very welcoming. For early arrivals, they have a great luggage storage that is secure within the hotel. Skipping room service gives you an option of 3 gifts, which was a nice treat for something we would have skipped anyway. Staff are very helpful in helping you find sites, providing recommendations, and assisting with making the stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is very filling with incredible danish rolls, eggs, bacon, sausage, cold cuts, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. The coffee and tea are available all day, and at 5-6pm, they offer a wine hour with generous pours. The room was comfortable with a coffee maker, safe and mini fridge. The neighborhood may seem a little sketchy due to the sex shop next door and gentlemen's clubs, but all of that seemed perfectly normal and the area was clean and safe. We'd stay at Anderson Hotel again!
