    Staining on one of the towels, hair in one of the cups and a bug in the bed. Not very pleasant.     I would recommend this short stay holiday to all guests looking for a budget hotel to stay. this may be a budget hotel but the customer service is outstanding. I was greeted by a lovely handsome man upon reception. He took his time and explained the breakfast timing, and some local spots for a coffee, even though the hotel lobby was very busy he did not rush me. I looked forward to passing him on the way out every morning as I was greeted with a big smile and a god morgen, this made my day. I believe his name was Ali. Thank you cabinn and thank you Ali.     Self check in was not managed so no access cards were resupplied to the terminals meaning you needed to wait with the normal check in queue to complete "self" check in which kind of defeats the purpose. Then I got told by a lovely staff member named Sam to "go f**k myself" when I tried to ask for clean replacement cups for the dirty ones in my room. I had the audacity to not wait another 15mins in the check in queue but rather try politely to get him just to pass me some new cups from the shelf behind the counter.     Treated with zero dignity after emergency surgery – deeply disappointingI bokked at CABINN Copenhagen in late April 2026 under very difficult circumstances. I had just been evacuated by helicopter from a ferry due to acute appendicitis and had emergency surgery at Bispebjerg Hospital. I arrived at the hotel directly from the hospital, still in postoperative pain and on morphine, with medical documentation confirming my condition.Despite having a valid booking – arranged through my insurance company's assistance service – I was refused help carrying my bag to my room. When I asked for basic assistance, I was instead asked to leave the reception area, in front of other guests, without any reasonable explanation.I had medical paperwork with me confirming I had just had surgery. None of this was taken into consideration. The staff showed no empathy or willingness to accommodate a guest who was visibly unwell.I understand that budget hotels have limitations, but basic human decency costs nothing. Being publicly dismissed in a hotel lobby while recovering from emergency surgery is an experience no guest should have.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling alone or in a vulnerable situation.

    This hotel has potential to be a nice, budget stay in a good location.I unfortunately need to give such a low score due to issues with our stay.Check in is at 15:00 and the hotel has plenty of lockers to store luggage, which we do as we arrived early. Easy to use but a shame these are not free or at least cheaper for residents.Upon returning at 15:00, there was over 100 people crowded and queuing to check in. The hotel has a desk to check in and also self service machines. We got our bags out of the locker and waited for a self serve machine. When we finally got to use it, we waited, while it whirled and whirled loading our reservation. Eventually the machine says we cannot check in and must visit the desk. After around 30-40 mins of standing in a crowded lobby, we paid again for a locker and headed out. We only had 2 nights in Copenhagen and needed to stop wasting time.At around 18:00 I called the hotel, who said the queue had gone down and I could check in immediately. When I returned, the queue had indeed reduced but I still stood waiting for around 30 minutes. Staff explained that the check in system had crashed which caused the immense queues. Now I can understand this is not in control of the staff on check in desks, but I do not understand why nobody would tell the 100+ guests trying to check in and let everybody wait around.Due to the issues, I asked to complain at the desk and was told I must email the team and the staff member, who was friendly, gave me the email.A complaint was sent and… nothing. No reply other than an auto email to confirm it was received. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I expected the team to be super busy after the issue. April comes around, 4 months later and nothing. So I email again. Finally a reply - along the lines of “sorry we do not get any email from you before and because we could not control the system we cannot compensate you at all”.No offer to even reimburse the extra baggage costs we paid after not being able to check in. No accountability and I believe if a similar issue happens again the situation will be very similar. The rooms are small as expected but clean and again, this has potential to be a good budget stay if well managed. However with the poor management and unwillingness to compensate for such a terrible experience, I could not return or recommend this hotel.
