Location

This hotel is centrally located by the harbour in Copenhagen, close to the popular Nyhavn and the shopping street, Strøget. Shopping venues, bars, pubs, nightclubs and links to the public transport network are to be found about 100m away.

The hotel was built in 1869. 7 junior suites, 2 suites, 48 single rooms and 126 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry.     The Copenhagen Strand Hotel is truly one of a kind! The location is great, the rooms are beautiful and functional and the breakfast is really exeptional. The best thing about the hotel is probably the staff, who were very warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel hosted the guests at our annual conference and it was a perfect fit.     Really enjoyed the whole stay. Super friendly staff, clean rooms, loved the cleaning on demand concept and the breakfast was fantastic (loved the danish food options and the atmosphere). One of the best hotels ever stayed during our regular city trips.     Business trip with family in tow. Great location! The building is showing its year's but the rooms are still well kept and generally well supplied. Excellent breakfast and the staff are outstanding! A little pricey but this is about location. Great spot close to so many things.Highly recommend this place and hope to be back some day.
