Location

This hotel is located directly in the centre of Copenhagen, and the main train station and the Tivoli Gardens are just a short walk away. A wide range of shopping and entertainment facilities are to be found in the vicinity of the hotel, as well as a public transport stop. In the city centre there are numerous sights, such as the statue of the Little Mermaid, the Christiansborg Palace (the Parliament), and the historical Holmen's Church. The royal residence, the Amalienborg Palace, is around 3 km from the hotel. Copenhagen's international airport is situated in the district of Kastrup, some 8 km outside the centre.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1900. 134 rooms, including 7 suites and 26 single rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     We had a large family room with a double, single and bunk beds in it . It had a table and two chairs . It was large with shelf space and a mirror on the corridor wall. The bathroom was very small and the shower in à triangle at the end . I couldn’t reach the soap dispenser in there and told Reception in the morning. À maintenance man moved it lower down for me. That’s service . The hotel is straight up from the main station , so very convenient with shops and food in there and also restaurants near . In the hotel breakfast area there is free coffee, got water and fruit in cold water . For breakfast you wait to be taken to a table . It’s very busy and compact, but there are hot and cold items with dietary requirements catered for. You could use the breakfast area tables in the evening as well .     Low cost convenience

    Spent 3 nights here with my daughter. The hotel is less than a minutes walk from Copenhagen Train Station so it couldn't be easier in terms of transport. The airport train takes around 15 mins into Copenhagen centre. The hotel room was basic, which I knew from reviews, but clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with good options for everyone. Overall an excellent choice for those wanting convenience at a low cost when visiting Copenhagen.     This hotel is close to the train station. It is an average hotel but nice. The room was very compact but clean. The bathroom was very small and in desperate need of updating. We stayed for 3 nights. If maid service was required, you had to ask at reception for it, but we didnt need it. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. The only downside to this hotel was that the room was very hot at night. We stayed in April and the weather was very average but the room was boiling hot even without any heating on. Our room was on the first floor, so I wouldnt have liked to have stayed any higher up in the building as I expect it to be even hotter. Therefore the hotel probably requires air conditioning. I would stay again at this hotel if I returned to Copenhagen, as it was fairly priced.     Another brilliant stay at this fab hotel. This visit all I wanted to do was chill out and the atmosphere here is perfect – although, with no effort at all (because the hotel is so perfectly placed), I went to Tivoli and into the city centre and had a brilliant time. I honestly wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Thanks this time to Rosanna, Santiago, Leonardo, Victor, Guillianne and the other new lady on reception whose name I missed. Also, the Housekeeping Team who keep the hotel so clean and comfy. See you all again soon!     Just returned from a weekend using this hotel. Great easy check in, arrived a few hours late (past midnight) due to a delay- Great easy check in and friendly staff. Room 309, located right outside the lifts and 3 windows in the room overlooking main roads.Spacious room with a double and a single bed, beds were really comfortable- a desk, couple of chairs and a coat hanger. The wardrobe was ok space wise for a weekend break. The bathroom did look old, but clean and they did have hair and body wash in. Plenty of plug outlets too.Breakfast- not too bad. Eggs- scrambled and boiled; bacon, sausage- breads but no toaster!! Fruits, yoghurt and pancakes with preserves and cake. Coffee and tea, orange and apple juice, it set you up for a day of exploring the city. You are given breakfast cards to hand in.Location- this was a good location, close to the central station- a 7 Eleven at the end of the road and a 10 minute walk to Tivoli.
