Location

The hotel is centrally located right next to Copenhagen central station (200 m). It is only a few minutes' walk to the amusement park, Tivoli, the Town Hall Square and the shopping street, Strøget. Copenhagen Airport is only 13 km away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 3-storey building with a lift and 93 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Overall, we were happy with our stay here. The hotel had a historic vibe to it. The room was surprisingly roomy and clean. The elevators were on the small side (room for 2 people with 1 suitcase each). The bathroom was serviceable with good pressure, though the shower wall should have been a few inches longer to prevent water from going everywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful in the interactions we had with them. The noise level was very bad in the evenings when nearby nightlife and such was going on. You are right next to the train station, which is a HUGE PLUS for convenience, but the noise is slight drawback at certain points of the night as people are coming and going, particularly on weekend nights.

    Noise rooms due to close proximity to trains tracks

    Basic hotel. I should have done a better research as proximity to train-station it actually means in front of the train tracks. I asked for a quieter room and I was told they are all the same at reception as we are in the center. Actually if you book in this hotel, yes in the centre, I strongly suggest you ask for a room not facing the train tracks. Unfortunately the hotel is also fully booked it seems so no switch is possible.     Conveniently situated right next to Central Station.The hotel looks a little tired, but was comfortable. It can do with a revamp in the public areas though, carpets on the stairs were scuffed and furniture appeared a little threadbare.The breakfast was sufficient, with a good variety.As the shower has no door, we had to dry the bathroom floor after every shower.Not good value for money in my opinion.

    Very Central and Charming but a Little Noisy

    This is a budget hotel that is very centrally located only a few meters from the station and you need to judge it on these terms.Once you do it is actually a really nice place to stay. It feels like it is from the 1930s because it probably is and it has a lot of charm as a result. The rooms were clean and the breakfast very good.The only reason I don’t give it score of five is that it is a bit noisy. The trains rumble next to it and the revellers were revelling on both Friday and Saturday. But then you are staying in a hotel next to the station so what do you expect?So if you sleep lightly, spend a lot more and sleep better. If you want to be handy for the station or Tivoli and can tolerate a bit of noise, this is the place for you!

    Old and noisy hotel adjacent to central station

    Stayed one night. Very well located just 100 yards from main entrance to central station. I asked for a quiet room and was given room at opposite end to the station. Receptionist told me that this room on second floor would be fine. This is an old hotel and extremely noisy. Terrible racket on street at 4.30am when truck doing some deliveries for 30 mins. Then at 5am the trains started running again, every couple of minutes it felt like the train was going through the room next door Between noise from cars, trains and lorry deliveries, you will be doing well to get 2-3 hours sleep. I certainly will not be coming back here and would not recommend it.
