    Overpriced and not very relaxing

    Very overpriced. Twice the price of Marienlyst/Ystad but lower quality. The spa is under total renovation: looks like a construction site and without any swimming pools - just overcrowded saunas and steam baths. This was anything than a relaxing experience. Still full price. When we complained we were told it was our mistake as they did put a small note saying “hydro spa is closed”. Like we were suppose to deduct that this meant no pools at all - just overcrowded saunas. Very much a corporate cover my *** approach rather than being helpful and honest to clients. In short: go to Marienlyst or some of the many good spas in Skåne. Much more relaxing, friendly, higher quality (and half the price). The aim has been to ensure transparency, so that guests can familiarise themselves with what their stay will entail during this period.That said, you have a valid point in that the wording “Renovation of the Hydro Pool” does not necessarily make it clear to everyone just how much of the spa experience is affected.     We have stayed at Skodsborg Kurhotel several times, and it gets better and better.The room and the bathroom were spacious and light, and the bed was so comfortable that we decided to buy the pillows.Breakfast used to be quite Spartan, but is very good these day.The spa is exceptional.     Had a lovely night over at Skodsborg Kurhotel. Receptionists were quite helpful and kind to show me around. My room was ready before the check-in time and they allowed the early check-in. Bed was a bit too soft for my taste and room was smaller than I expected, however it was clean and decent for a night over. They had one of the best hotel spa facility with so many different rooms in it and there were not many people when I got there. Lobby team - Angelo and Wiktoria- was flawless. Thank you for being a great company, truly enjoyed my time at the bar. Recommended Smoky old fashioned and swinging sultan cocktails are must try! Overall had an amazing time and ll definitely visit again.     One of the best hotels ive stayed in!From the food to the spa services to the amazingly helpful women at the front desk this hotel gave us a near perfect experience.We would like to give a special mention to 1.     In many ways a beautiful place. The location is great and so is the spa. Truly enjoyable to combine the spa with swimming in the sea.As a hotel it's nothing special. Good but quite standard rooms. As for dinner I found it pretentious while not all that great. The steak was not really prepared as a steak and felt like it had ben boiled before being fried.
