Facility

The hotel was built in 1913. The hotel has 93 non-smoking rooms, including 4 junior suites, 2 suites, 21 single rooms and 38 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

    Incredible location, even better breakfast!

    What an excellent hotel! It’s located RIGHT beside the central train station and across the street from Tivoli. It is a charming, historical feel hotel that has definitely been renovated recently. We even got to do an early check in on arrival which was a bonus. We had a room on the 6th (top) floor facing the train station / Tivoli. I was a bit nervous of the noise given I’m a light sleeper, and we wanted some air / breeze to keep us cool as our ‘air conditioning’, but my earplugs I brought from home worked like a charm. No issues. If you have the windows closed, even more sound proof. (We shut them part way during the evening because it got too cool!). Curtains are virtually blackout as well. Bathroom featured both handheld and rain shower, in an open concept division of the bathroom (no shower curtain or ‘lip’ to contain water) If you crank the water pressure of the rain shower up past it’s normal set point, the drain can’t drain the water fast enough but you honestly don’t need to do that and then the water stays in the shower area. For those not familiar with this - dedicate one key card for the slot at your door for electricity. GET THE BREAKFAST OPTION. It’s served 7:30-10 am daily, and is incredible. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in my 30+ years of travel, and with the biggest variety (rivals an all inclusive). We were sad that our flight left so early our last day we couldn’t get it one last time! A few other notes that I would have liked to know, as a minimalist packer on a 2.5 week trip:- laundry service isn’t available on weekends- there is a hair dryer in the bathroom Would highly recommend and stay here again.

    We enjoyed this hotel a lot. The convenience was unparalleled, being right next to the train station, very close to the metro and bus stops, and across from Tivoli. Yes there was noise from the roads, but it wasn’t too loud and didn’t prevent us from sleeping. Daily housekeeping, clean rooms, extremely warm and friendly staff, and they were helpful with luggage storage. The lift is a bit of a hassle but it’s a very cute and the kids loved it. Adding on the breakfast buffet was one of our best food choices of the whole trip. They have a lovely crepes station on weekends.     Wonderful hotel near station

    This hotel is very centrally located next to the central station. Unfortunately this resulted in some noise from trains. The room was beautiful and had lots of storage. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. There is a quirky little old lift over 100 years old. We went to the Library bar , off reception. It is very classy and was occasionally busy and we had to queue to get in.Reception staff were helpful and friendly.

    What a fantastic hotel.First of all the staff, they are amazing. Big shout out to Clara on reception, she was so helpful every day we saw her and even helped us with train times and platforms on our last day. She checked us in and saw us on our last night and even remember it was my partners birthday asking him if he has a nice day. You were fantastic Clara so thank you! Second - location - so close to the central station, metro and tivoli gardens. Third - rooms weee beautiful. We were on the 6th floor and the rooms were so nice.Finally - the breakfast was lovely! Hot food, breads, cold meats, tea, coffee and even health shots like ginger and smoothies. I could not recommend this hotel anymore then a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back!

    Great location in a cool building - they try to keep the historic feel like the old-timey elevator but of course upgrade other elements Gave me a upgrade - nice!Comfy bed - can’t complain I would definitely stay here again - 2 mins walk from main train/metro
