Located on the northern coast in the Playa Dorada complex, the hotel is just 25 minutes from the La Union International Airport. Puerto Plata Airport is some 30 km from the hotel and Cibao International Airport is approximately 120 km away.

Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The resort offers outdoor sports, including tennis, beach volleyball, golf, archery and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, banana boat rides, canoeing, kayaking and snorkelling. For a fee, guests can also enjoy jet skiing and diving. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, darts, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a steam bath, a beauty salon and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Dining facilities include 3 restaurants, a dining room, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    First let's me start by saying this is a really nice spot, very clean, good food, good staff. Where they lack, not enough umbrellas at the pool, no lobby bar and if you don't read the fine print no balcony and very small rooms. Very crowded beach the chairs are almost one on top of each other, pool bar was great, very convenient also the bathroom at the beach bar very clean and never ran out of tp. All in all I would recommend if you don't have any issues with what i though was lacking.

    I would like to comment on Stephanie's behavior, who without asking her opinion or not even was dealing with him barged in my conversation with the very respectful and polite Jhoeney. We lived a very stressful day having a delay with TS890 and her being rude for no reason. It was a very unpleasant experience. She had no right to give her opinion when she is not asked. Plus all the other issues, water innondation in my room. But Sophia Reception Supervisor was AMAZING.     Excellent resort! The staff are very friendly. Smaller resort with great food and variety. Ocean and pool are perfect! We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.     Small resort but that is a good thing. Food was decent and drinks were cold. The entertainment staff did a good job keeping the environment fun. The beach , although a bit of a walk from the main resort, was the best part of this place.
