Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, massage treatments and anti-ageing treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include half board and full board. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options, picnics and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

The accommodation was nice. the place is beautiful. The jacuzzi wasn't working, so we couldn't use it. The lady refused to store our luggage, even daw we really asked her to. We had to ask the tour driver if we can keep our luggage in their truck. We weren't to happy to have to ask the tour driver for help. other than that, the door man was friendly and so did the evening reception guy. The morning lady isn't friendly at all. didn't tell us thanks for staying with us. The restaurant food is good. The pool is beautiful.

Took a lesson for 2 at the tennis facilities where they charged much more when completed they when quoted on the phone....courts were nice and instructor was good, however the manager only accepted cash and changed the pricing when completed....beware! Great place with a fantastic view right in the middle of Cap Cana. It’s better if you have a car so that you can take advantage of everything Cap Cana has to offer, the service was great and the place is beautiful. Not a place to visit on your own

This is a golf resort and I would say not worth visiting unless you play golf. It was like a ghost town with no other guests visible and I thought I may have been the only guest staying. No doubt great if I was with a golfing group...At reception I was given an envelope of poorly photocopied documentation that was entirely in Spanish. Lucky I speak Spanish. No phone in room so had to call reception on my mobile. No answer. No cash machine so no way to access cash but taxis come within a few minutes of being called.The room was not very clean and was rather tired. One cupboard door was broken and didn’t close. There was however a little kitchen with plates and cutlery etc but no tea or coffee things which for me are important. The main light in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling and didn’t work but there was hot water. The aircon was surprisingly effective! In short, I would really not recommend this place. My view was not great compared to other hotels here and clearly the place needs a facelift but won’t get it with so little business and no guests. jcastillo82g, Jose Castillo at Xeliter Golden Bear Lodge, responded to this review Dear David M, First of all I want to thank you for both staying with us and sharing your candid feedback. In addition it’s a known destination for it many activities involving not just concerts and water sports events but we are close to one of the best equine centers of the entire Caribbean. Hope that you enjoyed our great pool area and its restaurant “Aqua Mare”.
