Location

This hotel is situated directly on the beachfront of Playa Bávaro and is surrounded by tropical palms and coconut trees. The fine, white sand beach is protected by a coral reef and thus offers the ideal spot for those wishing to try a spot of diving as well as many other water sports.

451 rooms are available. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The complex offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, basketball, crazy golf, golf, paddle tennis and archery. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy motorboat rides, banana boat rides and diving. The holiday village offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, darts, aerobics and table football or, for a fee, billiards. A spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and a solarium are included among the wellness options. For an additional fee, massage treatments are also available. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, a kids' disco, a dance club and a casino.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include full board and all-inclusive. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Special culinary options, such as diet meals, are also available. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We have been Presidential members for over 10 years. We have seen the decline of the advantages to the membership. Now we are seeing the decline of the services and hotels.We have been in Punta Cana 9 days. Our butler, Maritza is the only good thing that has remained.Something has been missing or wrong at almost every meal. We waited 45 minutes to get breakfast twice at Capricho. Actually walked out once without our food.Ordered a premium drink at dinner last night and it was not what the bottled said. I confronted the bartender and she admitted that they had filled the bottle with other liquor. My daughter who is staying with her husband and children in Family Selection and are beneficiary, never got champagne, her bathroom smells like a sewer, had her room made at 9 pm after 5 calls. Then the cleaning people took the chocolates they had just brought. Never got to eat them.My grand daughter got an ear infection and ended up in the hospital. Now she can't fly and has to stay one more day. The cost for that stinky room one day $650. No compensation for smell or repair.It use to be the PTC, which is not owned by Palladium but by Setivel, was getting bad but at least the resort was good. Now they have both gone down hill to the point that it's not worth coming here because of the frustration.I want to speak to all those people touring to buy so bad and tell them, DON'T DO IT.The chain needs to invest on what they have rather than building more to make more money. Our room is falling apart due to lack of maintenance and they do t seem to care. I can't even get my wrist band to open my door half the time.Just frustrated that we invested in this.

    I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Grand Palladium Punta Cana.When I arrived for my vacation, I realized I had accidentally left behind the credit card I originally used to make the reservation. Instead of working with me to find a reasonable solution, the resort informed me that they had to cancel my reservation and rebook it at the current rate. The result was an additional charge of approximately $1,200 for the exact same stay.I completely understand the need for security policies, but there was no willingness to offer any assistance, flexibility, or alternative verification methods. It felt as though the staff knew I had no practical choice since I had already traveled to the Dominican Republic and needed a place to stay. Rather than helping a paying guest resolve an honest mistake, they simply charged the higher rate.The resort itself may be nice, but customer service matters, especially when unexpected situations arise. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling taken advantage of and undervalued as a guest. Based on how this situation was handled, I would think twice before booking here again.This version is firm and professional, which tends to carry more weight with management and potential guests than an angry review.     We felt that we weren’t important as guests and that we bothered the staff. Not welcoming at all. Was my birthday trip and i don’t feel good this time.
