    I would stay here again. My only complaint are the kids in the bar areas and at the adult bar pools.

    This resort exceeded my expectations. I visited RIU Palace Macao last year and loved Punta Cana so much I wanted to try another RIU resort there and I’m glad I chose this one. The resort has so many options as far as lounging, pools, bars, and food. My room was very clean and well kept, they even decorated it for my birthday which was a sweet surprise. The staff were very friendly, warm, kind, and welcoming, and they even helped me practice my spanish! The check in and check out process was very smooth, and staff made these processes super quick. Waterpark was so much fun and brought out everyone’s inner child. There were 15 people in my group and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would say to get the full experience of the resort give yourself at least 5 days! We stayed 4 and I could’ve easily been there 3 more days. I had hardly any waits for food/restaurants despite the heavy population of guests. I’ve been to 4 RIU properties and this has been my favorite so far. I will definitely be returning to this property in the future.

    I had such a lovely stay at RIU Bávaro with my sisters. The adults only setting made the experience feel especially relaxing and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with well maintained grounds and a very calm, inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. We didn’t plan to visit during spring break, but it honestly wasn’t too overwhelming. There was still a fun and lively energy around the resort. It felt like there was something for everyone, depending on the kind of experience you’re looking for.The food was a highlight for me, especially the variety of seafood options. With 11 restaurants available, it was very easy to find somewhere to eat and we really appreciated how accessible most of them were. The only exception was the steakhouse, which was quite difficult to get into, but the other restaurants more than made up for it.The beach in front of the resort was very clean, which I really appreciated as I know that isn’t always the case at every resort in Punta Cana. It made the experience even more enjoyable. The property overall was clean, well kept and very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is also a great advantage, as it is close to activities like ATVs, buggies, cenotes, and places where you can try traditional Dominican food.The only thing I would mention is that the reception staff were not always the most helpful when it came to exploring outside the resort. They didn’t seem very open to the idea of us going out for shopping or leaving the property. They gently steered us away from it, which felt a bit unusual. It may be related to safety, but we decided to go out anyway and had a great time.

    We have just checked out and wanted to post a review of our stay here, buckle up its a long one. We were hesitant to come here due to some of the reviews. This trip and hotel has completely blown us away and far exceeded our expectations. ROOMS - we were at the back near to the children's pirate pool, perfectly happy, 2 large beds for us as a married couple, was heaven having seperate beds for 2 weeks 🤣 cleaned every day, we was on the ground floor and it was generally quiet, we left things in the safe and our kindles, tablets etc out and nothing went missing. FOOD - you won't go hungry, we loved the food courts at lunch, buffet at breakfast and dinner, special shout out to Elruso who was so happy, friendly and attentive. We tried the Italian, American and steakhouse and it was all lovely. Unfortunately didn't get chance to visit the Asian or krystal restaurant.POOLS/SUNBEDS - We stayed around the adult pool mostly and it was great, you could come at 1 in the afternoon and there will be plenty of available beds.BEACH - Absolutely gorgeous, no seaweed, water lovely and warm once you're in.We did a trip to saona island and the adventure buggies which I thoroughly recommend, booked through our TUI rep.Overall this has been a wonderful holiday and I am so happy we picked this hotel over the other RIU's
