    I love everything about this hotel! It is absolutely gorgeous and the food is amazing. The staff members are so welcoming and sweet, especially Jean Carlos, Mariela and Luilly!!! Def coming back again

    Great location,with very good vibe,Eric ,our butler was very prompt,professional,Angelo and Rosita from beach restaurant&bar very kind,always smiling and with a excelent vibe.Our room was very clean,spacious, with good cleaning service.Restaurants perfect, with very good meal and also very good beverages and promp service.Beach very clean and all the personell come to ask if everything is fine.Only minus, i can say is the entertaiment, wich is not for my taste.I recomend this Resort,for what is offering regarding price/quality.It is very correct.

    Just back from a 6 night stay for our 25th wedding anniversary at Live Aqua- what a beautful resort in the DR. We had a junior suite swim up garden view that came with a butler (Pedro- THE BEST EVER!!). Tip: if you are one who wants the party atmosphere, than I wouldn't suggest a garden view, there are many other options that put you closer to the action!. We selected it because it was more private and it was perfect for what we needed and wanted. Food: multiple options, with our two highlights being French and Mexican (the birria was delish). Attire at all restaurants is very chill- most ladies in sundresses and sandlas and men in shorts and nice tee or button down. That said, there were some in flipflops and sneaks- no one is getting turned away. During the day, we loved that you can party with the activities & music at the main pool, or you can choose from 4 other pools that are quiet and relaxed. Customer service at attentiveness at this resort is incredible, and the whole property is beautifully kept up and clean. Everyone (and i mean EVERYONE) is always happy to help, or assist. Bev/food service at all pools or beach is constant and lovely. I would *highly* suggest, if you can afford a lil extra, to get the upgraded room that comes with the aqua club/butler service. You get the premium bar at the main building if you want, a separate beach area that is less crowded, and butler service. I wasn't sure what to expect with the butler service, and honestly felt awkard about it at first, but it was amazing. Pedro was only a text away if we needed anything or had any random questions about something on the resort, or to make a transporation reservation, or needed laundry serviced (yes, this trip was a BIG treat for us, we sent a few things)- he even wents so far to send a gatorade to the room when he knew I was under the weather one day. 10/10, no notes. There were activities during the day and at night, all looked fun but we didn't really take advantage as honetly, we are two tired parents and were *happily* in bed by 9 most nights after full days of beach/pool/cocktials and food (how lucky we were!) For tipping: I should mention that my husband and I by nature are 'healthy' tippers, so we did go through a good amount of cash considering daily housekeepers, daily food service x3 (restaurant or room service), staff who would bring a soda or drink on the beach (a few times a day at least), transfer drivers, chauffers to excursions, etc. That said you don't have to tip here, it's at your discretion. (Ours ranged from $1 to $5 US per instance. ) Be sure to do the tally before you travel and bring enough. Other couple of tips that I read about (becuase of course I read up on everything!) that we took advantage of and we used: 2 personal bev containers, one water bottle type (like an Owala or whatever) Bottled water is PLENTIFUL there and the ice is filtered (do not drink the tap water), and you really need to stay hydrated, then a Yeti or something like that to hold other cocktail type bevs- the ice melts QUICKLY i those plastic cups they use! We also brought 3 bottles of sunscreen and a large bottle of lotion to keep that dundrenched skin hydrated - we went through 2 Beach Bum spray bottles and were in to our back-up lotion by the end of the week. (We use a LOT of sunscreen tho, so consider that!) We also had a small med kit with things like Liquid IV, Bonine, GasX, Immodium, Tylenol, Advil, that type of thing. It really came in handy (see above). And last is to print copies of your transfers and e-tickets. I thought I was being over prepared by doing so, but my phone wouldn't connect to WiFi at the Punta Cana airport, so I coulldn't pull up my E-Ticket. Had I not had it handy, it would have been a timely problem. Enjoy Love Aqua :)
