The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The souvenir shop gives guests the opportunity to bring home mementos of their holiday. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.     Disappointing Experience — The Level Upgrade Did Not Meet Expectations

    My family and I stayed at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort and paid an additional fee to upgrade to The Level, expecting a higher level of service and attention. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that.Throughout our stay we had multiple maintenance issues in our room (3606). Our TV stopped working properly and became extremely grainy. We contacted the hotel and were told someone would come shortly, but the issue was not properly resolved.The biggest problem was when our shower had no water for an entire day. After spending the day at the beach, my family of four came back unable to shower. I contacted the resort multiple times through WhatsApp, called several times, and even went in person to The Level lounge, but we still waited without a timely solution. For a resort of this standard — especially while paying for The Level — that was extremely frustrating.I will say the staff communicating through WhatsApp were polite and respectful, but the follow-through and urgency were lacking. When guests pay for a premium experience, the expectation is that issues are handled quickly, especially basic necessities like being able to shower.The resort itself is beautiful, and we enjoyed parts of our vacation, but the maintenance problems and slow response made the experience fall short of what we expected from the Meliá brand and The Level service.I hope management improves the process for handling guest concerns because small problems become much bigger when guests have to repeatedly ask for help.

    Great common area but did not like the room, the breakfast buffet was not very good either, very repetitive with limited options. But the cafe was nice and just the garden and the common area made the resort worth staying, we spotted peacocks and iguanas,Turtles cats and cute birds. The room itself can use a lot of improvement, the sofa looks really dirty and the bathtub as well. It feels old in general. The dinner restaurants are quite nice and the cocktail at the bar is also great. Too many people tried to force selling stuffs and excursion at the beach though, it made it not so relaxing. And the pool was a little bit too warm and it doesn’t feel very clean.

    Amazing experience. Attentive staff. Great amenities. Lots of activities for the price point. Close proximity to Cocotal Golf Course and other great amenities. Special thanks to:- Any L. (for being our amazing concierge…along with all the other awesome folks at concierge including Diego, Anyerica, and the sweet woman with the braids)- Carlos (for being our gym homie and solid guy) - Rony (for leading such great fitness sessions) - Manuel (I hope I got his name right. For his amazing work as head chef at Merkado) - Jason (our cheery bartender at the lobby bar) - Julio (and all of our amazing drivers) - Eddy Valdez (for helping us book an amazing excursion for our anniversary)

    Had a very satisfied stay at the hotel, met lots of friendly and fun people and the staff were extremely helpful with any issues I had or requests during my stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend to any friends or future partner to come with me here again for a second trip.

    The resort was just okay, the food could be better. Navigating through the resort the first day or two was a bit difficult, no maps and everything seemed far. Had to rely on the paperwork they give you on check-in. The booking system for their restaurants (other than just walking into the Merkado buffet) was terrible. Just one ipad for the entire resort? The activities were good though, volleyball on the beach and night activities were excellent and kept us busy for the evening. Some staff were friendly and helped us, some not.
