    we were unhappy that the desk person did not speak any english, that there was in fact NO Parking for a car, that it took us an hour to check in because we had to find someone who could explain the billing situation because initially the desk person said that we couldn't use a credit card but we couldn't understand her, and that the room smells terribly of disinfectant. experience was so different from the photos and descriptions.

    We showed up at the hotel and they did not have a room available due to some remodeling that was going on. I felt bad because the staff that was on site felt really bad that they didn’t have a room. But the management for the hotel was not on site. So the staff called management and we had to talk to them on the phone. At first the management was really nice on the phone. But once we told management that we were not interested in staying in some apartment somewhere else or staying in a room that was freshly painted, they told us they couldn’t give us refund because the way we booked the hotel and then hung up on us.

    We had a wonderful stay at the Luca Hotel. The management team was very friendly and accommodating to our needs, and we enjoyed how intimate and cozy the hotel felt. We traveled as a family, which was highly welcoming for our trip. The rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast options were great. When we went, the elevator was not working, which was the only downside, but the staff and everyone were very helpful and kind. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

    Its a fantastic option near downtown at a great price. We loved everything about the hotel. Really nice room, fantastic breakfast. Amazing staff. We were there for our first night in DR and decided to change our reservation we had at another hotel for the end of the trip and come back here.

    Boutique hotel in the heart of the Zona Colonial. Great location, very helpful staff, recently renovated , bathrooms are modern and a great size, aircon in the bedroom, water provided, along with breakfast, although we didnt eat breakfast so cant comment on this. Recommend to anyone that is visiting Santo Domingo
