The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. I would not recommend a stay here to friends!

When we first checked in my impression of the hotel was favourable, however…..we got up to our room and first thing I wanted was a shower. I let the water run for quite awhile and it never did get hot. I then went to use the hair blower and it overheated after barely starting to dry my hair. I went down to the front desk to let them know about the hairdryer issue and they said that they would send housekeeping up. Housekeeping never did show up. We went to the restaurant for supper. They didn’t have either of our choices. We settled for what they did have, and it was ok. That night sleeping was interrupted by noise coming from outside until the wee hours of the morning. We had an early start to our day and went down for the complimentary breakfast that was to be served starting at 6 AM. There was nothing ready. When I asked the front desk about it they were rather rude about it. At 6:20 our ride showed up, we never did get breakfast. The coffee was OK though.

Careful when booking at this hotel because despite guarantees you may not get what you are expecting. I booked a suite directly through the Stubel website while on the phone with the hotel front desk. They confirmed that the suite I was booking was on the third floor and had a balcony and a view of the valley. I told them it was very important to me to be on a high floor and they confirmed that I would not be lower than the third floor. I also sent a follow-up email reiterating my conversation with the front desk and confirming the balcony. Upon arrival I was given a suite on the first floor without a balcony and I was told it is impossible to change rooms today or at any time during my four night stay. My room smells like a swimming pool and the entire first floor is full of condensation. The view is of a tree and a fence. I was offered no compensation for this change. In fact I was not even offered an apology upon check-in. Since I checked in on a Saturday I was told I would have to wait two days to even speak with a manager, who will not be onsite until Monday. I am very disappointed with this hotel. It came highly recommended and I expected a more professional level of service.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again. The hotel also offers excellent views of Quito.As a solo driver, the hotel provided the best driver to give me a tour of Quito the local way!

Just overnight before flying home, did not have big expectations but was pleasantly surprised! Rooms are very modern and nice, was actually better than the air bnb I stayed in for work for 2 weeks and the same price. Located in a good area it had great views over a steep valley. I just got a basic room, but it was great, the upgraded rooms must be very nice. Clean, comfy beds, lots of pillows and good water pressure. Nice desk and work area in the room too.
