    Overall good

    rating08 May 2026

The hotel isn't new, but it's very cozy and clean. It has a large terrace overlooking the Nile, where you can have breakfast and dinner. Good breakfasts, green and very clean grounds, and a large swimming pool. The staff is very attentive. Thanks to Reham, she helped us upgrade our room to a Nile view. Fruits and water were brought to the room every day. We stayed three nights. Olmost opposite the Nubian Museum, next to Old Cataract hotel (You can visit it at any moment), 15 minutes to the pier to walk. A bit pricey for the low season, but considering we changed rooms we liked it. Guest Relation Manager, Owner at Basma Hotel Aswan, responded to this review Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, cleanliness, Nile views, breakfast terrace, pool, and green surroundings at Basma Hotel. We are also pleased that the room upgrade and daily amenities added comfort to your stay. Your comments about our location near key attractions in Aswan are greatly appreciated. We truly value your feedback and look forward to welcoming you again.

The BASMA Hotel is a delightful hotel. The staff is extremely helpful, cordial and friendly. The rooms are large and extremely clean. The surrounding views are stunning, as I enjoyed them while sitting on my balcony. Breakfast is delicious with an amazing variety (the omelets are scrumptious). The food in general is terrific (Shish Tawouk outstanding). The pool is wonderful. I swam often. Truthfully, I didn't want to leave. All in all, the BASMA is one of the loveliest and most comfortable hotels I've stayed at in my many travels. 💌 Guest Relation Manager, Owner at Basma Hotel Aswan, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback.
