  Outstanding stay with exceptional hospitality

  My recent stay at Benben by Dhara Hotels was truly exceptional—one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after you leave.I visited with my mom, and from the very first moment, everything felt special. The atmosphere of the hotel is incredibly calm, peaceful, and beautifully designed—it’s honestly one of the most serene places I’ve ever stayed in. As someone who travels often and experiences many hotels, I can confidently say this one stands out as something truly unique.What made the stay even more memorable was that it happened during my birthday. Without me mentioning anything beforehand, the team surprised me with a beautiful cake delivered to my room. It was such a thoughtful and genuine gesture that meant so much to me—it really reflects the level of care and attention they give to their guests.The breakfast experience was beyond amazing. Every morning felt special thanks to Mohammed, who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He even remembered our drinks and preferences throughout our four-day stay, which made everything feel so personal and warm. The entire restaurant team created such a welcoming atmosphere—we genuinely looked forward to starting our days there.In the evenings, we would often go for drinks and refreshments, and Mohamed Shoura made those moments just as enjoyable. He brought such a positive energy and made sure we felt comfortable, relaxed, and taken care of every time.The reception team—including Adham, Nirvana, and Heba, along with everyone else whose names I may have missed—were all incredibly professional, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attitude and hospitality truly made a difference in our stay.I also have to highlight the housekeeping team—the level of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail in the room was outstanding. Everything was spotless and maintained to perfection throughout our stay.Overall, the vibe of the hotel is simply unmatched—peaceful, elegant, and incredibly welcoming. This is easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I will be recommending it to anyone planning a trip to Aswan.A truly unforgettable stay.   Come for the Nile, Stay for the Experience

  If you’re considering staying at the Ben Ben Hotel, do it. It is absolutely 1000000% worth it.The views alone are unforgettable. Waking up to the Nile right outside your window feels surreal, and the entire property is designed in a way that really lets you soak in the scenery at every moment. It’s one of those rare places that feels both peaceful and visually stunning from every angle.What truly made the stay, though, was the staff. The level of service is exceptional. Everyone is incredibly kind, attentive and genuinely invested in making your experience special. You feel taken care of from the moment you arrive.And the breakfast buffet?! Worth the hype on its own. Restaurant manager Ahmed made me believe in buffets again! The variety, quality and setting make it something you genuinely look forward to each morning. It’s not just breakfast, it’s part of the experience. Be sure to order a cappuccino and the hibiscus.Ahmed is truly the BEST! Stellar service, And shout out to Chika Mohammed for the impeccable dining service as well.One thing to note: the drop-off point isn’t accurately shown on maps. If you’re arriving by taxi, it might feel like you’re being taken the wrong way, but you’re not. Trust the process. Once you arrive, it makes sense and is part of what keeps the location feeling so unique and tucked away.Overall, the Ben Ben is such a special, one-of-a-kind stay.   Wonderful Hotel and Even Better Staff

  Wonderful hotel from top to bottom. The rooms were clean, views were amazing, and service was beyond excellent. I wanted to highlight Ahmed the restaurant manager and Chika-Mohamed for an impeccable dining experience every time we visited whether we were by the pool or sitting down to eat. Can’t recommend this place enough. We were treated like royalty in every aspect of the experience. We will be back!   Magical weekend in Aswan

  I stayed here for two nights a weekend in March really just to visit the Abu Simbel temple. I had no idea how much else there was to do in Aswan. This hotel is a magical place, which begins when you arrive by boat and catch a first glimpse of the hotel perched upon rocks in the middle of a lake formed by the damming of the Nile. However, the view you will see in the daytime doesn’t come close to how the hotel looks at night from the water. It is a short ride from here to the Philae temple where you can catch the sound and light show at night. The entire staff of the hotel is incredibly friendly and welcoming and will accommodate pretty much anything that you request many of the rooms come with the Jacuzzi on the terrace and you can spend all day lounging by the pool. I was welcomed by Sara and Nardeen who are very ably assisted by Ashraf, who is the manager. The menu is diverse and you won’t get bored. I tried several dishes and was not disappointed. Make sure to ask how long it takes to prepare each dish so you can plan accordingly. If you are hungry and want something in a hurry, make sure to let Mr Ahmed the restaurant manager know.   Stunningly Beautiful

  The Ben Ben hotel and grounds look incredible from a distance, and equally as beautiful up close. The hotel is built into a hillside on an island that looks as if it should be in the Mediterranean. Stunning views all around, and of the temple Philea in the distance. We found the rooms to be reasonably nice, clean and comfortable. Part of the area is still under construction so i could hear hammering and saws here and there. I could not pick a few things, but pretty minor to me overall. The location is very steep in areas with a lot of steps or very steep cart paths to the rooms. We chose to walk everywhere, but you probably can get the hotel staff to transport you wherever you want to go in a Tuk Tuk, just hold on. This is probably not a very good location to stay if you have mobility issues. To get to and from the hotel you will need to take a ferry, as it is situated on an Island. Call ahead as they need a 30 minute notice to send the ferry. The area the dock is located isn't very nice. It feels like your driver took a wrong turn, and are going to the wrong place while on your way to get there. As soon as you pull up you will be descended upon by a bunch of kids begging, and trying very hard to sell you something. The area can also be muddy, so beware. Getting into the ferry is not going to be easy if you have limited mobility. I must say the ferry ride is nice and peaceful with gorgeous views in good weather. Since the hotel is on a Island you will have limited dining options, however there is a restaurant onsite. We found the food to be OK, but nothing great. Although not an issue for us, it must be noted there is no alcohol unless you bring your own. We were visited by several friendly cats while we dined. Overall this hotel is very beautiful as well as the surrounding area. The staff was extremely nice, but it was pretty obvious that most don't understand English very well if at all. Sight seeing and dining options are limited, but if you want peace and tranquility this place is it. Depending on my itinerary, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
