Location

The hotel is located in the Heliopolis area, just a 7 km drive from Cairo International Airport and 20 km from the city centre.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 334 rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     I have quite a divided feeling about the hotel hospitality. Some staff were very welcoming such as Hossam (manager in charge during today breakfast) while yesterday morning, I had a lady’s manager without name tag gave me unpleasant gesture when I requested for napkins. I wasn’t really welcomed too during dinner by the reception lady at the pool side where she didn’t bother to welcome us although I was standing for table until I had to approach her and she wasn’t too happy to show me around. But the waiter and waitress were very welcoming n service was great. On the first day we checked in too, cups were not clean but we were given room upgrade and welcoming fruits n mini savory cake. Housekeeping also did good job when we requested extra service such as water and towels. Food was good but not great. Breakfast was fine too. My favorite would be the pool area where in morning, I had good breeze and morning sun. Again, I’m not sure why I wasn’t feeling too welcome, maybe due to my skin color or I’m a lady travelling with a little child alone but some staff did their best to entertain us. Anyway, at night the hotel has performance at the pool side something interesting to watch but it was the same every nights. Will I come back? I’m not sure but who knows. Thank you for the great staff that work hard but those staff that have some attitude issue should be given more training to not make guests feel unwelcome.     The hotel is clean, well maintained and rooms are new.Breakfast was good, not with a large variety of choices but it is acceptable and delicious.Also, prices are affordable and reasonable for additional services.Location of the hotel is very good, you can visit a lot of restaurants around you. Also, it has restaurant called Abo Ouf which is tasty and not so expensive.     We booked this hotel as we had an early flight the next day and so wanted to be close to the airport and to get to bed early. In the evening they had entertainment in the pool area. Someone was singing loudly. It sounded like there was a karaoke in our bedroom. It finished sometime between 23:00 and midnight and then we could finally get to sleep. Not impressed!Rooms were clean and comfortable but this is not a five star hotel.
