    Great Hotel and Great Staff!

    Some friends and I joined a Gadventures tour that brought us to this locally-owned hotel. My friends, one of whom I worked with at IHG's corporate office, and I loved it! After IHG we really appreciated the diversity instead of a cookie-cutter hotel. The maintenance of the historic building is impeccable. The tea room was a great place to have an Egyptian or Turkish coffee however don't expect to get a vodka martini. The restaurant might not always be open when you want it to be, but breakfast is a typical, over-the-top selection of breads, yoghurt, fruits, and more. The hotel's neighborhood looked a little sketchy, so I didn't go out alone. As is true anywhere in Cairo, there are stray dogs and cats everywhere. I was told they're vaccinated and very well cared for, although we were advised not to get close enough to be scratched or bitten.

    DO NOT STAY HERE! I asked for a room upgrade almost every day and they said a room would be available the next day but never gave us one until eventually all rooms were booked up. I’ve been trying to contact them for weeks now and nothing!!!!!!!!!!

    Great Hospitality and Perfect Location at Cosmopolitan Hotel

    I stayed at Cosmopolitan Hotel in Cairo for 3 nights, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I would like to give special thanks to Houssem at the reception for his exceptional hospitality, and to Said, the housekeeper, for keeping our room immaculate and beautifully decorated. Said was also very helpful, providing us with valuable advice, especially regarding visiting the pyramids. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again in the future!

    Nice, Historic Cairo Hotel

    Some friends and I stayed here during our gAdventures tour of Egypt. The hotel is historic, therefore quirky and imperfect in many nice and not so nice ways. It is spotless throughout. It has a nice restaurant, a coffee/tea room, television lounge, and a lobby area. LOVED the old elevator, decor, and service! The location raised some questions when the street was blocked with a chain that had to be manually lowered and raised for vehicles to pass. The side streets weren't really inviting us to be walked without a local, but I'm sure they were safe. The hotel doesn't serve alcohol.
