    Lovely room offset by Noise and poor service

    Although our room was lovely and spacious, our stay at the hotel was marred by noise and poor room maintenance. Our 8th floor room was right off the main street with access to the attached shopping mall and the traffic noise at night was LOUD and unrelenting even by Cairo standards. The rooms around us were being remodeled during the daytime, with loud, persistent drilling. We checked in on a weekend, so the first 2 days were not too bad , but once the work week started the drilling noise was very loud. The daily room service was spotty sometimes not providing bath mats, hand towels, wash cloths, or emptying the waste cans. When I asked housekeeping for towels and washcloths for our room, she gave me a single washcloth and told me that was all I could have. There are definitely some nice features for the hotel, including access to the huge City Stars shopping mall and several nice restaurants, but the noise and poor service diminished our experience.

    A wonderful stay with great hospitality and excellent service. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming. Special thanks to Sara for her support and professionalism. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.
