Located within metres of Cairo airport, this comfortable hotel is situated approximately 17 km from the city centre, with its numerous sightseeing opportunities, such as the Egyptian Museum, as well as plenty of shops and entertainment venues. The convention centres are roughly 8 km away and links to the public transport network are to be found within 1 km of the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 209 rooms and 6 suites, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     A massive disappointment for a Novotel-branded hotel.

    It's surprising that All Accor group allows one of its primary hotels to be this bad! Though it's supposed to be a 4 star hotel, the hotel is definitely a low 3 star hotel.The good:Shuttle was very fast, check in was quick (though I arrived at 7 PM), customer service is ok, and the proximity to the airport is a plus if that's what you're looking for.The very bad:It's very very old, common areas are smelly and unclean, on-site restaurants are sub par, rooms are tiny, rooms and corridors are not taken care of, rooms are severely under-equipped (no slippers, or any personal amenities), I asked for an iron and a board, and was told to use it quickly because it's the only one available (the iron was burnt beyond use to start with and I didn't use it).I'd never stay here again.     Decent hotel near the airport

    The good:-Near the airport-Nice rooms (at least after a long trip in Egypt in very basic hotels)-Shuttle service TO the airportThe bad:-Difficult to get the shuttle service FROM the airport, as guests have to find someone to call the hotel, get the hotel on the phone, wait and then find the bus-Very very slow check in with zero charm-Price charged at check in was different from my written confirmation. In the end it was a small amount, so I let it be, but the absolut ignorance of the staff at this fact after I repeated it several times as shocking nonetheless. That's a reason I'd never stay at this hotel again.Apparently a lot of people have been complaining about the same things for a very long time. While the management claims here to take this all seriously it seems like those are unforunately just empty words.
