Humble hotel with hardworking and kind staff.

    rating30 Jan 2026

My husband and I stayed for a week recently in the “panoramic “ room. Overall our experience was very good. The accommodations are adequate— keep in mind this is a mom and pop place, not a big name hotel franchise. The beds were fine, bathroom was mostly clean other than the shower stall having some stains (perhaps mold, not sure). The water heater in the bathroom doesn’t last super long. The room does come with a safe, refrigerator, television, and WiFi that’s reliable. We enjoyed people watching from our balcony. The view is amazing ! Nextdoor you have a great restaurant called Rooftop 7000 that we ate at several times. Every morning we would take advantage of the free continental breakfast they offer which always included freshly made falafel. Soooo delicious! We were always greeted by Adel, Kamalali, and Am Ahmead. They were all super kind and nice. The airport shuttle is a driver in a regular vehicle, not a shuttle bus. They did charge us for our transportation on our return trip to the airport, but only $25. We would come here again if we were to stay in Giza. We quickly got used to the quirks of the neighborhood. You do get hassled by the shop owners when you go outside, just ignore them and say no thank you. Ubers will have difficulty getting to you here because it’s a congested street. There is a good deal of noise with the horses outside and people down below on the street, but we slept playing white noise which worked for us. They also provided ear plugs. You can message me if you are planning to visit, I’m happy to give advice!

    Lovely stay in Giza

    rating09 Jan 2026

We had a wonderfull stay at Pyramids View Inn. Before our arrival, the communication was great, they arranged a pick up van from the airport for our arrival day for a fair price. Staff was so kind and helpful, always with a smile. We booked the Junior suite which was a lovely room, very spacious and with a balcony with fantastic view on Sphinx and the Pyramids. Waking up in the morning and seeing that view from our room is priceless. The room was nice, big, clean with lots of water provided for free by the owners. We added an extra bed to the room with a supplement 20$ per night.Yes there are some works at the moment happening in front of the accomodation, works by the government but it did not bother us much and did not disturb our sleep. The breakfast was simple buy great, from their rooftop terrace. The chef is always there to welcome you with the most kind smile and prepares the most delicious falafels! We enjoyed sunsets as well from the terrace drinking coffee and tea offered by the hotel at all time.To summarise, you should not hesitate to book Pyramids View Inn for you stay, you will be welcomed like a family and taken good care of throughout your stay there samy Ghoneim, Owner at Pyramids View Inn, responded to this review Dear marushaThank you very much , we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again soon in the near future

    DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

    rating28 Dec 2025

We stayed at this awful hotel this Christmas . The bins weren’t emptied all week, the towels changed or the room cleaned. All the staff were interested in was very persistent hard sell of overpriced trips. The only positive was the lovely lady who made breakfast - which had to be eaten in our dirty room. The final nail in the coffin was one of the reception staff knocking on our young daughter’s bedroom door at midnight and asking for her INSTAGRAM. She was terrified!!! There are many nicer places as an experienced traveller this is honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
