This family-friendly beach hotel in Marsa Alam by the Red Sea is just 24 km north of the city centre. Guests can truly live the dream at this magnificent and magical place, which is perfect for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. Marsa Alam is also home to numerous offshore coral reefs, including beautiful and rare kinds, making it one of the most attractive and enjoyable spots in the area. The holiday village is around 38 km south of Marsa Alam International Airport.

Facility

24 junior suites, 9 suites, 50 single rooms and 68 double rooms are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the 24-hour reception desk. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the holiday village feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a hairdresser.

Rooms

Air conditioning and adjustable central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. Extra comforts include a refrigerator. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone and a television with satellite/cable channels are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer.

Sport

The freshwater pool complex includes indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated, as well as a children's swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities such as tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and archery or, for a fee, horse riding, are offered at the complex. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example a gym, darts and aerobics or, for a fee, table tennis, billiards and callisthenics. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. A kids' club and a dance club round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a dining room, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A delicious breakfast gives guests plenty of energy for the day. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet.

    It was very nice time in the hotel. Very big beach, sweeming pools are clean and not much people in this season, so it is not crowded at all. Tasty food in the restaurant and clean rooms with nice views. All gardens are full of flowers. Barmen brings many nice drinks in the evenings. Best holiday I did in marsa alam was in solitaire. Have nice time there.

    I arrived at the Solitaire resort 01 January 2016. At first I was frightened by the weather. There was a cold wind. But it was only 1 day and then I could swim and sunbathe. The hotel grounds are very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is tasty and varied. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is TV, fridge, safe and wifi. The beach is very nice and clean. The sea was very good. Also on site were 2 pools. Since, due to the political situation, there were not many guests in the pool heating is not included. I am very happy with the stay at this hotel. I recommend to all who like a beach holiday away from the bustle of the city.

    We enjoyed a lot. The animators was great, we had so much fun together. Hotel in total was really nice. As always, you can find small defects its not totally new hotel. We had problem with air-condition but they solved the problem in one day. Food was alright, there is pasta place and buffet. As you should know Marsa Alam its very quite place for relaxing, diving and snorkeling . So don't look for crowded place with many people. We find new friends here and stay together for all time. The holiday u do for yourself that holiday you get.

    nice hotel and relax holiday we did enjoy a lot our holiday , the place is marvels and we would like to return back next year , food is tasty and the place is clean also the sea is full of color fish very suitable for snorkeling
