Almost a 5* if they serviced their Peloton bikes

The Hyatt House at OSU is my go to place when I am in Columbus. As usual I will review by Pros and Cons:PROS:1. Great Location walking distance to Ohio State. Quiet despite being near the freeway.2. Employees are great especially Zynia at the front counter.3. Suites are comfortable with all the amenities of home, small refrigerator, stove, microwave, safe and coffee maker. Beds are comfortable nice small living area.4. Fitness center is one of the nicest of any hotel property; plenty of free weights, cardio machines, etc. and two Peloton bikes (discussed below). There is also a running trail along the Olentangy River right outside the hotel. Additionally, some rooms have Peloton Bikes ( higher room rate of course).CONS:1. "Free" breakfast nothing to write home about, very basic.2. Considering this hotels emphasis on Fitness it is surprising the two Peloton bikes in the fitness rom need some TLC. While, they are calibrated property, they are missing some levers that enable the user to move the seat up or down on one and back and forth on the other. Also, the TV near the Peloton bikes turns on but when you change channels nothing happens. I commented on this in my review year ago, but apparently it is not a priority.I will still stay here in the future but it would be great if they could clean up the kinks.Cheers!Marius Mike Moseley, Sales at Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU, responded to this review Thank you for choosing the Hyatt brand of hotels for your recent trip. Kid movie charge

I was charged a $57 charge for movies that the kids somehow ordered. Inwas not happy about that at all. I feel like they need to have a code to order movies when kids are a part of the stay. Nice hotel and a good location with free easy parking and a free good full breakfast. Nice pool for the kids and a small but nice gym. A lot of places to eat in the area also. This hotel has a super friendly staff. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming The rooms are a little smaller than we expected but they are clean and comfortable beds. The customer service of this place is hands down. Some of the best I've seen in a long time. James, working the front desk was able to check me and point me in the right direction on parking and recommended an excellent place to eat.
