    Perfekt Holiday

    rating05 May 2022

Great holiday !!! Beautiful, fragrant hotel area, beautiful plants everywhere, the hotel is also very nice, modern, clean. Staff very helpful, caring. There was no noise in the area in the evening, so it was possible to sleep perfectly. There was still plenty of food to choose from. I like to eat fish, so I enjoyed, they were on offer for lunch and dinner and always very well seasoned, as well as salads. In fact, all the food very tasty, nice, beautifully arranged. It was still beautifully clean everywhere.Beach clean and well maintained. If I could immediately, I would go back, one of the best vacations I've ever had !!!!

    lovely location friendly and helpful

    rating24 Oct 2018

read the reviews about this place before we booked and were a little worried especially when a few days before we were to depart love holidays were going to pull us out of the hotel and gave us 3 alternatives all of which did not meet up to what we wanted. we had spent xmas and new year in hurghada at the Sunrise Resort which was quite spectacular for the occasion but was spoilt by being a high rise building which when the sun went behind the building we lost a lot of sunshine. Also the place was a little stayed with dress code and piano bar if that's what you could call it. We and others ended up going down to the local pub The Retro for a more relaxed atmosphere. We are going back to hurghada in March to the Hilton so when we booked this holiday we wanted to just chill on beach in a low rise building on beach with no frills. We knew that we were far away from main resort areas and just wanted plenty of sunshine. Then Love Holidays resinded there original advise and said that our holiday to the Rivieria Plaza was all okay. On arrival at Hurghada airport we were suppose to have been met by a Love Holidays rep which did not materialise, my husband and myself are very experienced travellers and eventually manage to find our transport to the hotel we were taken there and dropped off at about 11pm. Nothing was open and the staff spoke little English, we manage however to ask for a meal and drink as we had been travelling all day and they did their best to accommodate us with a meal and drinks. We were then taken to our rooms which were on ground floor and only about 40 to 50 yards from sunbeds beach and sea. The room was really nice clean and welcoming with good air con I had noted from other reviews that no tea or coffee facilities were provided I noticed this and immediately we were supplied with a kettle and all the relevant supplies of tea coffee and milk. we could not fault our hotel room which was cleaned everyday located right on beach near pool and beach bar. Food was typical Mediterranean fare with plenty to choose for breakfast , sorry but to all you brits I don,t suppose you have bacon eggs mushrooms hash browns black pudding beans fried bread and toms everyday that would be boring and heading towards heart attack country There was plenty of choice to suit everyone. There was only one restaurant open throughout our stay which was the buffet restaurant this I think was mainly due to the fact that the hotel was virtually empty so obviously they had had to make some cutbacks. This might have been explained to us if a rep had ever decided to turn up at the hotel to greet us. The beach bar however supplied us with all the local drinks we wanted but were limited on snacks which basically were beefburgers chips ,salad and cakes anything else had to be purchased, but if we went to the main restaurant everything from chicken, beef, vegetables, fish, salads, sweets and much more was available, this again would have been explained to us by our non existent rep .Once the beach bar closed another bar open further into the complex were you could get drinks until 11pm. Evening meals available only in main buffet restaurant but with no lack of variety beef, chicken, fish and on one occasion pork with a variety of vegetables potatoes rice salads etc and sweets. Although no one at the hotel or on beach spoke much English we were the only two British people in the hotel everyone tried to be as helpful and friendly as they could. We could not fault our holiday the only criticism we had was the lack of support from any holiday rep. We were left no instructions about who to contact if there was any emergency only the paperwork that I brought with me from home. On being picked up for our return it took me several attempts to contact our transfer firm to ask what time they would be coming. We enjoyed our stay at the Rivieria Plaza the only let down was our holiday company. Would return again.

    Holiday from hell!!!

    rating28 Jul 2018

Booked two weeks all inclusive here for our family of five and it was an utter disgrace! Food was horrendous we were sick for the full two weeks, your all inclusive drinks are not served by the glass but by these tiny kids plastic cups, the pool has broken tiles so expect cut feet, no kids club, snack bar, pool bar these are all not functional!, manager couldn’t give a hoot if your unhappy just told me I’m English so have a different mind?? No standards at all! The only good thing was room was clean and the pool guy kept us alive with lemon tea and medicine thank god for him! ( mc mood) listen to all the bad reviews and steer clear it’s a shabby run down dump! Avoid! Oh and to top it off my 10yo was electrocuted by some live wires hanging out a wall!! Holiday from hell 😩 myself and my husband worked a whole year to end up with this rubbish! Furious doesn’t come close.
